I thought that I had my dream house designed until you started building yours. I have now redesigned mine to add a huge pool as well. The sad part of it is that because I am disabled I will never be able to see it built. If I were to build it I would lose my medical assistance which would be catastrophic to my health. In addition to the injuries, (6 broken vertebrae in my back), I have heart issues, asthma, diabetes, and am a cancer survivor. My medicines cost in excess of $5,000 monthly. I really hate that i have had to give up on my dreams because I can no longer work for a living. It is great to see all of the wonderful things that Mike is doing with the house. I can only imagine how much he is spending on this build. My dream home has a price tag of around 1.1 million and contains a theater, pool, custom kitchen, all on one level with wheelchair access. There is even a ramp going down into the pool.

@@carlfriedrich5316I loved your joke! However it sparked me to say that it is possible the Egyptians didn't build the larger pyramids. Only repurposed them later as a burial chamber. It's amazing how you have been able to put together an engineering project building your home. Future Archeologists are going to be debating this concrete structure's purpose in the middle of the Utah desert where nothing else is standing. A temple for the regional King? A burial chamber for local Royalty? A water storage tank for the indigenous people? You better bury a thumb drive (in a water proof chamber) showing your process, to provide clarity to future historians.

Thanks again Michael, for another update on the pool/house, And as with every other thing I've seen you build, THIS is SPECTACULAR ! And as I've been following this I've been wondering IF YOU actually get cracks in YOUR concrete, or if you've some how figured out how to eliminate even that? Concrete IS VERY tricky stuff i think, and i have only built a relatively small foundation (40 feet long) for a ten foot high block wall on it, and about 20 feet (the SLC city engineers told me) had to be 2 feet deep and 4 feet wide, since that part ran over one of the Creeks that run thru town. (And in the short time that it was exposed above ground, I didn't see any cracks in that.) but it probably eventually did crack.. Something that has always puzzled me is how the people that build the huge industrial warehouses that are made out of concrete walls (poured into flat forms on the buildings floor and then craned into a standing position.) I've never seen cracks in those walls... And I've been in a lot of 'em. So how are they doing that ...??? I know that they put a LOT of rebar into them walls. Do they put something special into the concrete mixture??? If you have any idea about this i hope you'll talk a little about it next time. Thanks again, and we ALL ❤️🥰❤️ ya, "Brother" ! ! !
