Building the Tyrannosaurus Rex in 1/35 scale by Tamiya - a perfect kit for dinosaur-mad kids??

The perfect video showing what modelling is all about, having fun. Fantastic to see Alex teaching you as well. Not built a dinosaur kit but built a obscure kit from the 50’s which is close :) Fun fact: the Tamiya dinosaur kit’s, the bases will interlock making a nice little scene.

Thank you, Sarah Jane! This one didn't come with a base but there was some info in the instructions about a diorama set so I'll keep an eye out.

i got a tamiya t-rex kit (with ground diorama) along with the 6 raptors and triceratops for my granddaughters. built it alongside them and they had a blast. glued the raptors to the diorama base with the t-rex. our t-rex seemed to be different. anyhow they enjoyed it as they are big dinosaur fans.

Well done Alex, with dads help, i also got my 3 lads a dinosaur kit each, they were from the first Jurassic Park movie,... Revell kits I think. turned out really good as well.
