It has been awhile since I had a Charger video but I now have parts and materials to build hopefully everything else to get her on the ground sitting pretty. One thing I will need to do is design some billet front knuckles and have them CNC'ed which may require me needing to use a 3d scanner so fingers crossed we can get this all finished up asap!!!

Yeah but it would be cool if he would show us the car at some point during his videos. It's 20+ minutes of him pointing the camera at himself talking and if we're lucky he flashes the car on screen for a split second.

Trial and error. Just like the Carbon Fiber Roof. Just goes to show that custom builds aren't plug and play like most of the shows and channels show. I have more respect for builders who take their time and do it right over the ones who rush to get it done for SEMA or some other showing and end up with a half ass project. Quality and attention to detail is what sets Dave above most of the other builders. If he can't make a deadline, he presses on because he won't cut corners and will showcase his project another time. Meanwhile, we are along for the ride and feel like we are participating in the build with him.

"If at first you don't succeed, try, try again". It's the only way to get it perfect. Shouldn't be too long now and the Hellwagon will be sitting on all four wheels and getting closer to being finished. All the best from Queensland Australia.

As I told you before, it would be easier to take a 300 awd cradle and forged the transfer case and the front differential to support the power of the hellcat and in addition you would have the right stance and you would eliminate the drivability issues, while with the trackhack components your magnum charger will be too high and not to mention all the driving problems, a lot of work for little chance of success, the probability of issues is enormous.

Awesome Dave. Great progress. So much effort - I’m super glad you’ve taken the time to show how complicated it is to do what you’re doing is. No rush. Enjoy the process. Yes. The 2nd jig looks cleaner. But the rear jig looked like orders of magnitude more difficult. Keep it up mate. 🤙🤙🤙

You may want to use the charge/challenger GT awd front knuckles since they use the 4 piston brembos. That way you don’t have to modify the police knuckles to fit the brembo brakes.

Dave, I have a serious question SRT Hell Cat Hemi engine mounts, I have heard that the GM LS motor mounts( bolt hole dimensions on the engine block ) are the same as Mopar 5.7, 6.1 and 6.4 hemis are same. The dimensions are center to center horizontal 4.430 and center to center 3.064 vertical. The bolt holes on the engine block are .470. I have tried to find a set of 5.7 hemi engine mounts and no luck to compare them to a set of GM LS motor mounts. I have been doing research, but find dimensions for the Mopar engine mounts. If you have time, do you have hemi and GM LS motor mounts and compare the bolt hole dimensions. I’m serious, Covid really has hindered finding parts.

Have Dave did you ever hear back about your custom rear hatch spoiler ? Love the car man wagons are dope, I’ve got a jzs171 toyota crown wagon comes stock with a 1jzvvti turbo and I just found out that some of the lower spec non turbo ones came na 1jz and awd so I’m thinking a 1jz turbo awd wagon would be dope as hell 🔥🔥 and your wagon is hella motivation

Do you happen to know if there is a huge difference or any at all between LX and LD platforms?
