Hiya Rob, Great job brother!!!! I need to pick your brain about some paints. Much rather do it in private (Facebook maybe?).

Another great Video Rob!! 👏👏👏 I didn't know that Slab Sided, solid Balsa Sheet Models were made. What an excellent Beginner Model, and it looks like a solid flyer as well. 👍👍 Someone on our Forums mentioned recently that our Foamies are harder to build than Free Flight Balsa Models!! Really? Several of us straightened him out quickly. The hardest bit that we deal with is making score cuts in the Foam Board, not so deep as to cut through both sides of the paper. And possibly setting the CoG, after all Electronics and Batry have been fitted. This young lad had obviously never built a Balsa Model beyond the basic Stick Rubber Band Flyers from the Toy Store!! This looks like a perfect first kit for me. The only thing I would have to panic about would be the Main Wing!! ...... Not that the rest is EASY, but I do have experience with Model building. 😉 Cheers Mate! Carmine ✈🚂🚙

I wish the prop install was as easy on the model I have. I simply have one long thick wire that I have to somehow 'sculpt' into shape and it's proving real hard. :/

Rob, where did you get the blue side clamps from? They are exactly what I am looking for...

Question do you have to use dope
@robbrennanbalsawoodplanes5 жыл бұрын
Hi Ashley. No you don't have to. The dope helps make the tissue water resistant so you only really need it if you plan to fly the plane outdoors. Hope this helps.

Yet again another non flying model. Would require ounces of nose weight to get the CG in the correct place
