This kind of drones have never been my cup of tea. But the video is very enjoyable, as usual. The educational angle for newcomers to the hobby is a very welcome addition. Well done, Metodi. It looks quite the part. Cheers.

When i first started watching this video, I thought the model was a Sci-Fi subject. Not modern aircraft used by the US Navy. Ha, ha. It still like something out of star wars. Great attention to detail. I remember making masking tape from plain old tape from Walmart or an office type supply store. When i discovered Tamiya masking, Yahoo i didnt have to make my own anymore. Well not really true today as i still do cut up masking tape for variouse shapes/contures, etc. Then i duscovered masking fuild, oh joy. Anyway i'm rambling. The aircraft looks great, and a unique subject. Congratulations.

I find that although I have various widths of tape, I use primarily the 18mm from tamiya. As you've said, cut it as need3d and move along.

Swann and Morton surgical scalpels, you have great taste in tools.

I feel scalpels work better than exaco blades... at least in the beginning

What number airbrush needle do you use for varnish applications ? Also for primer applications ? Thank you 😊
@MMScaleModels3 ай бұрын
Usually 0.3 for both.. although sometimes I use the 0.2 as well. Depends on the area to cover.

It's a Great Looking model.... you take Great Care in assembly!!! A lot of Good techniques on painting/weathering... I was thinking that you would have painted the exhaust before assembly onto the model, but that came out Very well!!! I did the same model, but as a "What If..." drone-tanker that the USN Was thinking of producing, here is my model build of the same kit, PART 1.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/fmS9ZJuij8-Ur6s PART 2.... kzbin.info/www/bejne/anSQdYqCoa2dl7M
