Building Toolbox Doors (Duramax Custom Truck bed)

I this video I am building the doors for the toolboxes I built into the sides of the bed. I walk through each step I take while building them and show how I re-use the old door frames to make the doors for the custom flatbed. This is exactly what I've been looking for, thank you! Searching for tool box doors comes up with everything but this. I'm not sure what else to type in. I built my doors oversize with a flat flange that closes against the surface of the body. I like your way better and it's kind of the standard. I was young when I started this and really didn't think much about it. I think I'm going to cut it out and change to this. I welded my hinges because I'm lazy and hate drilling holes and dealing with hardware. lol

Thank you for the video, good information. You do nice work! But got to admit that was funny when you turned the handle the wrong way and it didn't work. I felt the panic too for a second. But everything turned out beautiful!
