9:01 Why slope the driveway towards the foundation? Being on a slab with no basement, it's probably not a a huge deal but was that done for a specific reason; instead of having water shed away from the house?

Great video and nice designs. A couple of questions did you hire an interior designer or is that done by the architects that you work with. Are the kitchens and doors custom made or are the standard off the shelf ones e.g. Bunnings or mitre 10

GIB/Plasterboard is used as a bracing element a lot in NZ construction.

By the building designs earlier in the video, it says lot 1 lot 2 on the plans, which would indicate that.

Yep. My thought too. There must be some kind of hood that would keep water off the lens without obscuring the view.
