Buidling vs buying the building process in zim pros of building instead of buying a house cons of building instead of buying. i think building will be cheaper than buying at the end of the day.

I am 26, building my first house in Zimbabwe but l live and work in China. I just finished the lintel stage. I started 3 months ago and I enjoyed watching this video lol made me feel not alone in terms of the frustrations that come along with building however Will l build another house after this or just buy? Yes l would still build. First of all as you mentioned it’s so satisfying watching the process, 2. You can go in stages according to your pocket 3. You build to your own taste while learning a lot. 4. Building slowly allows you to still do other small businesses to generate more as compared to just put so much money to buy a house which usually people buy a house that requires so much renovation and you are still putting in money and not generating extra money if that make sense. 5. Saving money to buy a house might take much longer cause emergencies come up and you might keep taking from that saving whereas building you just put in the money right after getting the money and once you finish a stage you are not gonna go back so there is more significant or faster progress.

I cannot even dispute this. You raise very valid points. And well done on this, so amazing how much young Zimbos are doing. Who is managing your project for you in Zimbabwe?
