Very good choice with the doors, they are, as you say, very cheap and very rigid, and they are light enough to be lifted around with ease, A very succinct explanation about the source of light relative to aperture as well, deep shadow is the last thing you need in there, the only thing that could be a problem is that your access door has the catch on the outside, whereas you will be on the inside ! I can see you will be spending the winter in there !
@D3Sshooter5 жыл бұрын
Englishman French , txs. I have a catch at the inside as well. I just need to hope that nobody locks me up.
@453421abcdefg123455 жыл бұрын
@@D3Sshooter Ha Ha ! I noticed that there was a catch on the outside as I did the same on my log shed, I made a simple link to the inside in case the wind blew the door closed.

I'm no painter but we always had complaints from our paint shop if silicone was anywhere near the paint booth or vehicle.
@D3Sshooter5 жыл бұрын
TheHoipoloi , indeed that is a painters nightmare silicone as it causes fisheyes in the paint and is very hard to remove or clean. Here the seals are behind the insulation panels. So should be no problem

Having the heating/ infrared panels installed- for awhile how are the working? I’m setting up a booth and see a lot of various inferred panels advertised mostly the 3k panels in sets of 8. Wondering if this is something to explore. I have not seen the type of panels you installed.
@D3Sshooter4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the comments, they work great... I have four of them and can get upto 40 degrees inside during a cold winters day... far end infrared... works great as it heats the surface not the air

Again to add awesome videos really helped in the making of mine, I’ve converted a 20ft container into a spray booth and just going into the heating side now. Would love to use the infrared idea do you know what w/kw yours are?

Can you give us a link for the lights you are used the explosion free ones please
@Zurkuleens5 жыл бұрын
1) could you consider using a lot of led strips? 2) why didn't you put the lights lower? Will you have enough light in the lower area?
@D3Sshooter5 жыл бұрын
These lights are LED but not LED strips, the reason is that you want to cover it up with plastic to protected from paint. On my lights I place a peace of clear plastic every 3 jobs. Works great. Also LED strips are to hard ( light wise) as he surface is to small. So far I had no issues with the light. I can always add additional stand free LED lights if needed like for the inside of a car

You may think you have good lighting but your going to find alot of dark spots when you put rusty in there. I would add more lights low or better yet up an down. Thanks for the video enjoy watching them..... :-D

Bob Pendergraft , indeed that will an instance that will require extra lights. That is why i have extra moveable led panels.

@D3Sshooter4 жыл бұрын
@PascalCrypto4 жыл бұрын
