I really do think 151 started something that we don’t fully understand the ramifications of in the collectors side of the market. SOOO many people came back to collecting because of 151. Only time will tell, but I think in a few years we will see it BIG.

The reason why a new set dips is because collectors don't want 80% of the cards. THIS SET, 151, has bangers from #1 to the final card. That's why. It's cards people WANT. If they did this for gen 2, gen 3, they'd see many more older collectors come back to also start collecting again. Some of us don't want the new crystal head cards. We just want some OG redesigns, done right. Not a REPRINT. A redesign.

Booster Bundle was available 3-4 days on Best Buy and 2-3 days on Target. Sold out now. I think this is perfect. When the restocks happen everyone has a chance. This is why big stores and LGS are needed. If there were only LGS we wouldnt have opportunity to get it for retail.

151 got this millenial 30+ back into Pokemon. I played with the base set. So I like 151 to re-enter the scene. Now I'd like 251 / gen 2 in the same style. Gen 1 and 2 were my days a kid. Nostalgia hits hard.

this set is kindof having the same effect celebrations had for the causal collectors. Ive seen so many kids and their parents buying this set to complete a binder and looking for singles. All 151 product still goes relatively quick in my area while most other sets still sit on the shelves.

The Kanto effect is extremely strong in this and then combine that with the amazing artworks of S&V tcg era. Those two things together and we have this absolutely amazing set.

I’d be another $1k closer to a Mario and Luigi pikachu promo. I haven’t opened any 151 since my kids are not into Pokémon anymore. We started collecting during SWSH boom, so our memories for pokemon are made pulling Moonbreon, Shining Fates Charizard, Giratina V alt art, having all the eeveelution alt arts, Gengar Vmax, etc. They are all going into a memory box in the basement along with all my sealed booster boxes from SWSH and will be revisited when my kids are grown adults.

151 definitely has more value than the other sets of S&V but do you ever see any of these newer sets containing a card that exceeds or matches the value of those cards in S&S? Seems like every big card settles at most $120 or $130 but evolving skies and a few other sets have cards exceeding $200 per… think those days are behind us with the amount of product being produced?

Been back in the hobby since 2017/2018. Started in 2000 originally. Collect mostly sealed. Some things like certain characters i have nost of their cards like bulba, snorlax for the wife (expensive lol) eevee for our daughter, and a few ithers. But NEVER cared to EVER master a set. Rip for fun, keep good pulls. Sure. But 151...maaaan. it was like insane. I was hooked. I HAD to have every card. It even had a BINDER to start me off. Gave you everything you needed to start. Found myself chasing REVERSE HOLOS. like who does that!!?? ME! Lmao. This set is amazing. First EVER set ive completed. Hope they do something else like this with the other gens. You should change the “Price Drop” in your presentation to “Price Change” since there’s usually a mix of increases and decreases. 151 is an awesome set, I’m four cards away from a master set and pulled about 96% myself.

The metal mew brings down the collection goals because the Mew Ex gold card in the premium collection is a metal card which would be unplayable in the TCG making the gold card actually have value in competitive but not as much in the collectible

I know your website does ship internationally, but the fees kinda make it a nightmare (not your fault I know). Have you considered setting up UK or EU shops, with warehouses in those places? I know that is probably a logistical nightmare, as you likely run a lot of your store yourself by hand, which in itself would probably impact store prices... But just thought I would ask!
