The built Ford F-150 SVT Lightning race truck hit the rollers to do some dyno pulls, get horsepower / torque numbers, and it was SCREAMING! The exhaust and blower sound so loud, idk which was the loudest, it was awesome! The build put down some decent hp, great tq, and everything went smooth. Stay tuned, alot more to come with this never ending project truck, as the build gets even crazier!

Good pulls and good setup man! Eric Korn is the man! Love the fog light air inlet setup. Thinking about doing something similar... but I run a big o 5in intake on a 2.9 Whipple.

2002 hd with 2.70" upper and 8lb lower my max boost was 15.5psi logged. Spraying water/meth helped tighten up the tolerances in my self ported eaton. when i first bought it and after cleaning intercooler and exhaust I saw a significant drop in boost at manifold as expected, with stock pulley setup.

I thought you had a 3.4 Whipple for it? Please install that... you will not regret. I did an SVO shortblock, TFS heads with a really nice full exhaust with the 3.4. Man, it puts down 620 at the tires on LOW boost and 855 with 26psi on C16.

Nope, don't have any whipple. That is awesome, sounds like a badass truck! But the 2.3 tvs I have should be capable of my end goal, not gonna say numbers yet, but I have some ideas/plans for it and it should get me there🤘😁
@midnight347
@midnight347 Жыл бұрын
3.4 is too big of a blower imo. It's gonna feel lazy through the lower part of the Rev range compared to a 2.3 tvs and isn't needed if you're just trying to do 600+ wheel. The tvs would have a way better power curve if both are in the 600 whp range.

Dynojet shows aprox. 17% less power then Dynodynamics. I got Magnaflow headers and exhaust (with catalytic converters x 2), cold air intake, SCT 2600 maf, Twin 65mm throttle body , custom fuelrails, 3 fuel pumps, bigger intercooler, Whipple 2.3 and custom tune. It make 500hp and 540 ft-lb with Dynodynamics and it's FAST!

Another great, very informative, video. 👍🏼😊 I did guess a little high on the HP numbers. 🙃 I do have an, unsolicited, opinion… It seams to me that you may end up limited, (possibly significantly), by your fuel system with the new supercharger. I am running triple pumps, larger fuel lines and rails, going into 78 lbs injectors, in an effort to support a 3.2, (should I decide to go higher than 600 HP). Just my opinion, NOT based on any provable evidence. Your build is going to be sweet! Thank you for the great content!!! 👍🏼😁

Not a fan of having to worry about finding it, driving out of the way to get it, planning trips around where stations are, ect. I like the simplicity of 93 pump gas, it's everywhere. Even with the tvs swap, I plan on staying on 93 for my every day tune, and having another tune for c16 race gas when I race, just what I prefer. E85 is impressive though no doubt

485 hp with a stock Eaton is crazy good. I bet you saved a ton of money not upgrading the supercharger since they cost upwards of 5 thousand dollars. Get rid of the Nito's i had the same tires on my Dakota R/T they are trash. Pickup some Mickey Thompson radials.

You can get blowers alot cheaper I seen a 2.3 vmp gen2r other day for 2300 blower only I paid 3499 for a brand new gen3r on black Friday couple years ago and last year they had them for 3350. You can run an adaptor to use those blowers too on these trucks.

I'm personally not a big fan. I've talked to Brett at Jokerz, and he said they put a lot of extra stress and wear on the front snout components. If your not spinning it hard, it might be ok, but idk if I would. I also had some buddies that had cogs and they couldn't get them to ever line up and kept shredding belts

Considering it's the stock blower on 93, not really. Those two are what's holding it back, both of which changing soon. I started with the foundation first, so initially yes, it's a lot spent for not much gain (since built motors don't really add power, just the ability to hold more power). But once I put the bigger blower on it, that puts the motor to good use, it'll be worth it.
