**Built in 2006 ABANDONED in 2023** incredible Dream MANSION left completely forgotten!

This beautiful mansion was built in 2006 to replace an older home that was on the property. The current house was bought by a redevelopment company and was demolished! I filmed this video in the summer and as of now a new house is already well under construction. Such a shame that new mansions like this are being demolished so often!

That is absolutely absurd that such a nice new house like that is demolished and nothing salvaged! The amount of money wasted there is appalling! Thanks Owen for another great explore! At least you didn’t have to deal with mouldy walls or undesirable people in this one!

I hope they would salvage more items and donate them to the ReStore. It should be required to reduce waste. The Ontario government is way behind on the housing goals they set. Neighbourhoods should be required to incorporate more housing density like many other countries do.

I don't like the garage in front, to me it takes away the view of the house. I do like the hardwood floors. Beautiful chandelier but I would hate to clean it. I didn't care for the layout.

CRAZY ABOUT THE EXTERIOR!!!! We have a Stone and Brick home as well, but NOTHING AS MASSIVE AS THIS PLACE!!!! I like the Kitchen Cabinets, but it' a BIT TOO MODERN for me. The Bathrooms are NICE, and the Doors and Stairwell are QUITE LOVELY!!!! REALLY INCREDIBLE FIREPLACE, AND I'D BE HANGING IN THE BASEMENT ALL OF THE TIME!!!! Can't FORGET the Pool!!!! It's just PATHETIC how these "Developers" have to SWOOP DOWN and DESTROY THESE PLACES!!!! DISGUSTING!!!!

My guess is someone bought the house and started renovations but ran out of money. For as large as the house is, the bedrooms and the kitchen are disappointingly small and the en-suite with only one sink? And only a 2 car garage? It’s definitely a nice house but reconfiguring the house would cost more than tearing it down and rebuilding.

It was built in 2006. A couple years ago it was sold to a developer who has demolished this house and will build a new 2 story mansion on the property

Without at least a hint of an idea of why it was abandoned- you don’t need to say names- but some sort of story… without that to frame the story of the house, it’s just another typical structure.
