We are turning this 15’ Fisher Jon Boat into a Tiny Boat! 25hp Mercury Outboard motor, 24v Minnkota Bow Mount Trolling motor, marine batteries, casting decks, livewell, fish finders, electronics, recessed foot control tray, hydroturf…this boat will be awesome! In this video I fabricated a built in DIY Fishing ruler, fishing pliers holder and scissor holder into the front deck of this jon boat to bass boat conversion. I am extremely happy with the results! The ruler will not slide out of the tracks because they are held in with Gator Guards Gator Skinz. The golden rule ruler will be a nice addition to have in the boat once its ready to hit the water. Im enjoying this build and it helps to have creative freedom. Thank you for all your support. Im sure this jon boat will be ready to go fishing soon. This seems like an awesome idea but you put a lot of effort into it. If you want to do this on a future build I would look into Kydex you could get someone who makes pistol holsters to make a “holster” that you just rivet to the inside of your deep stow wall and cut slots in the front wall to where it would slide through strait into the Kydex. Kydex would be formed tight enough to solve the rattling out.
