I’m in the middle of a boat build myself. I absolutely abhor drilling holes in my boat. I’m using VHB tape. I’ve used it before. Works good.

Measuring every couple of inches to get the right angle was the most time consuming process for me when I made the casting deck for my boat

Definitely time consuming! But I prefer it over cardboard templates.

Very nice video and channel.. i like your work my friend..how thick is the plywood .. and do you think making floor and storage box using wood would make the boat much heavier than using aluminum!!

Thank you! I used 11/32 plywood, very thin and light. Aluminum would be comparable in weight depending on the thickness used but probably a little lighter and last forever. Aluminum is about 3-4x the cost though so it depends on your budget!

What kind of screws did you use to to screw the angle irons into the front bench

I used rivets to attach the aluminum angle to the front bench. Then stainless self tappers to screw the deck to the angle

i didnt measure the angle specifically, i measured a few spots and drew a line to connect the angle
