Some say yes, some say no. Break in is quite an involved process but in a nutshell, yes, I start to boost lightly after the rings are seated. This was about 50 miles on the engine. The boost was only set at 14 psi and as you see I didn't get anywhere near the 9000 rpm rev limit. Short pulls like this are fine for an engine built to handle 1000hp.

Car made 584whp on 93+ meth on this same tune with bad valves. Engine was gone over, should be making a tad more now. Only running gate pressure here (15psi).

Why do you estimate your WHP? Didn't you have to get a tune anyways? Or is this still just break-in?

My builder told me 2000 Miles...I think thats a bit much for just a 500hp engine. Guess Ill see

id stay away from any FP products. many horror stories all over forums . But either way your 850s cannot handle the turbos your looking at.
