These instructions are for the Crew Cab ONLY! The SUPER CAB seatback will NOT move away from the back wall, not so much as an inch. That requires the removal of the hardware at the hinge. Very important to note that these two back seats are NOT the same. I had the back down once when I first got it, real SOB of a task! Also-after you’ve hooked up the pull cord, be sure to slid that little receiver bar back where it was, or you’ll jam it. I know all this because I learned it the hard way. I wish I had this important knowledge before hand.

Wonder if a gun rack would fit on the wall back there 🤔. Maybe pull the backer. Add some sound deadening or so.ething to get some extra room needed

just a heads up if you have the B&O sound system- the amp and sub take up a lot of the available room back there. I was about to install this and there wasn't enough room for it to be worth it.

Just ordered mine. No idea why ford doesn’t do this from the factory. Platinum and limited have a subwoofers that take up the space. But Us poor people that can’t afford the high dollar trucks have the space.

The back of the seat on my 2016 XLT does NOT move away from the back window when the bottom is folded up, like you show. There’s absolutely NO movement. Can’t figure what’s wrong???

Not sure it’s going to for 16 and lower models. This was installed on a 2018. So it would be 2017-present models this is for...sorry brother. 🇺🇸
