Finally! A mod under 25 bucks! I bought a 2020 F250 King Ranch 3 months ago. I'm going to do all the mods you have done on yours. Air intake, disaster prevention, upper fuel filter mod, soon to released lower fuel filter mod, At least this one is cheap. lol.

Probably the first thing I did to my 2020, I store soo much stuff behind my seats (four way, 4x30 HD tow strap, regular ratchet straps, ford goose ball kit, bed cargo net, load bar, etc) it’s like a tool box but on the inside of the cab. Don’t think I could fit as much stuff if I had the premium sound system tho. I see arod has a sub and what looks like a amp back there. I have the inverter built in but it is under the seat on the rear passenger side. Good video

Should have been stock from the factory but hey look how much weight and $$ they saved for epa fuel economy.

There are a few different brands out there especially on Amazon. I went with the Built Right because 'Merica and it was still less than $25 bucks I think. They also offer a few other cool mods I wanted so I saved on shipping. They make an "off-road" stubby antenna that's pretty cool

This was the first mod I did on my 2019, perfect spot for my tool case, I paid the premium price for the BuiltRight brand to support a local American business, I see hundreds of eBay knockoffs now for less than $10 and I see why now after watching your video, the small hole clips on the latch stud of the BuiltRight and fit like a glove, not knocking the one you got but only the best for my XLT F250 🤪

Nice vid ARod. I just got my BuiltRight version in the mail today. This video was perfect timing and should make quick work of it as well. I also got the BuiltRight Dash mount at the same time and already installed it tonight. It took me about 30 mins total. You should check out their products and look at the dash mount. Nice fix but I have to say I like my 06 f250 setup better, a lever for the back and a lever for the bottom, I can’t judge the reasoning for the design because I’ve never looked that close at a new super duty 👍😁

I like it. Let us know if it rattles though. Don't like the metal to metal design. I piece of foam tape on both sides might solve the issue if it exists.

Thanks for the info. Just got an F250SD and while I figured out all the other seat bits, that left side back had me stumped. As a last resort I even looked in the owners manual and nothing about the backs, just the base. Even for the right side that has a release. How lame. I guess I need to buy a seat release tether, for a brand new truck. WTF Ford?

Good video but garbage back seat design. My one owner 2005 F 250 Lariat has lever on side to lower seat back. Why did Ford change design? Was it needed for the new under seat tray that is for storage? My 05 has the metal fold out under seat platform to use for hauling chit in the back with seats folded up. Behind the seat is the storage tray for jack, tire iron etc plus behind the seat back works great for heavy winter coat storage, tow straps, jumper cables etc.......

@@SM-ut6vb I still don’t get why Ford had to eliminate the lever to lower the seat back. Just doesn’t make sense. Even if they gained more leg room, how much did they actually gain? And the idea that you need to raise the lower seat to get the back seat to come forward enough to get to the latch just seems like a poor design. Don’t get me wrong, the new Strokers are awesome rigs, if they weren’t literally double what I paid for my 2005 6.0 new I’d have one.
