Good job, I use Amsoil engine flush for the super high detergent before I change mine (good stuff), and by the way you can change my oil anything, you did it perfectly. Love the content.

On my truck i have some plastic cross race, did you remove yours. I have to do box wrench to get to my drain plug easy. I was wondering if removing the plastic would do anything. I have pro 4x with skid pan so i don't think it would matter much anyone else have the plastic cross section?

I have it. I wouldn't remove it permanently

Hey there, thank you for making videos for the Nissan Titan xd Cummins bc it is very underrated and less info out there for it, could you please make a video on how to flush the radiator coolant and serviced the radiator and how to bleed the radiator system. Thank you!

Do you need to prime the new oil filter before you put it on?

You can but i usually don't do that

@BuiltForSpeed cool, thank you. I just bought a 16 xd on Thursday and it had to go back to the dealer for the egr cooler

Any major service center yall recommend?
@BuiltForSpeed10 ай бұрын
Transmission needs to be serviced every 20-30k miles if you tow anything. Diffs and transfer case every 60-80k. Engine oil strictly every 5k full synthetic oil these engines are very sensitive

Why 5w- 40 over 10w-30?
@BuiltForSpeed9 ай бұрын
The 40weight has alot better protection at higher temperatures.

Hello…enjoy the Titan XD videos…considering a 2018 Titan XD w 5.0 Cummins, with 153,000 miles. Recommended things to check before, during, after test drive??
@BuiltForSpeedАй бұрын
@fpj4704 make sure no lights are on. After you get it change every fluid in the truck to amsoil. You will never regret it.

@ Appreciate the reply. Plan is to call dealer tomorrow morning and see if truck is available!!
@BuiltForSpeedАй бұрын
@fpj4704 i would definitely try to get 2018 or 2019 with a bit lower miles. Because it's very risky getting one with that mileage, you never know how someone took care of it.

Do you have to reinstall the shield or can the truck go without it? How many miles on the truck? How’s it running? I’m thinking of purchasing a 2016 Titan XD Diesel 34k miles…your thoughts?

I just did 90k miles update video on my channel check it out. And shield protects the truck so i would reinstall it.

@@BuiltForSpeed I appreciate your quick reply. Would you recommend the Titan diesel 2016 year or would you say go newer? I subscribed to your channel. Thanks for making these videos.
@BuiltForSpeed Жыл бұрын
@CountryLivingOnTheFarm personally i would say get 2018 or 19. Because they worked out all the bugs by then. 2016 was the first year so they can have few bugs. But i know ton of people arpund 200k miles issues free. Obviously the threw all the extra weight off...
@CountryLivingOnTheFarm Жыл бұрын
@@BuiltForSpeed since I live in CA I won’t be able to do a delete on it. I’m concerned about the twin turbos. Watched another KZbin video and someone said some 2016 trucks had turbo issues but was resolved 2017 onward.
@BuiltForSpeed Жыл бұрын
@CountryLivingOnTheFarm well first year of production there will always be some bugs. Unless they already got addressed at dealer. And you dont need to delete you can get emissions intact tune and i would highly recommend it

How many miles do you run on amsoil before u change it again?
@BuiltForSpeed Жыл бұрын
I change my engine oil every 5-6k miles in every turbo car just to be safe. I'd rather be safe then sorry. I know people that do it every 7500miles and some every 10k. Amsoil is one of the best oils out there so if you will run it longer you have alittle less to worry about. The cheaper brands that aren't as good quality you have to be careful.
