As a gooner who watches every touch of every game, I've always had my reservations about Saka, Martinelli, and Odegaard. I do believe our tactics overwhelmed opposition teams last year and inflated our attacking players' output beyond what would typically be expected of players of their respective level. I just don't see enough from them on a regular basis where they are consistently threatening defenders and creating clear chances for themselves. Quite a contrast from some of the top attackers in the PL and Europe.

It's the opposite. Arteta has handicapped our attackers so the levels we are seeing from them now is well below how good they really are. We've been on bad form the whole season due to Arteta and these buffoons are judging that instead of looking at it logically.

Saka is getting Triple Teamed whilst still being asked to score. He's had to sacrifice his game to fit Mikel. But again you people aren't ready for those convos. Saka 2/3 years ago was much "more entertaining" and fans like rants were sfat padding. All these maverick type players, aren't appreciated by the fans who claim to love them the most not saying saka is a maverick but thi king saka isn't elite because he's become robotic and less entertaining to me is casual shizz. I think a big part of the reason for Saka's dip in form this season. Is the way he's been managed by Arteta. Playing him every game. Even when he's not fully fit. And pigeonholing Bukayo as solely a wide winger. Compare that to the way Pep has brought up Foden. Playing him sparingly initially. Increasing his involvement slowly over time. While playing Phil at multiple positions. And now we see Foden is a complete footballer. Who has maintained his youthful exuberance. I fear that Saka has plateaued in his development because of Arteta. And for those that claim Guardiola had the luxury of bringing Foden through gradually with Manchester City. Because of KDB & Silva... Don't act as if Arsenal are some small club. And that Arteta alone hasn't spent 650 million on players. Not bolstering the squad at Saka's position was a choice!

Saka is good but i never rated him as a world beater. He might improve, still young. The thing bout English players right its hard for me to place them as elite because they’re not consistent every season. Just look at all the previous up and coming English talent in the early part of their career was on the up then end up disappointing like dele alli, walcott, wilshere can name more. Saka might be world class in the future but right now the ceiling saka can hit is sterling. Great but not individually world class.

He's been overrated to such an extent that people are actually believing he's world class. He's decent but I'd say he's not even England's best right winger. Palmer, Foden, Greenwood, Sancho, Grealish are all better than him in my opinion but he's one of Southgate's favourites. I won't even mention Gordon, Rashford, Sterling, potentially Mount and Maddison as they would operate from the left side. If we picked the Euro squad today he'd be lucky to even make the plane.

I have been saying that Saka is an overrated show pony. He has hit his ceiling. He is not going to become faster, stronger or more technically gifted. Declan Rice is also an overrated show pony. He is nothing more than a glorified CB. He hides in defense the whole game and then he pushes forward in the last 5 minutes looking to score a goal which makes the last impression he leaves a positive one. He clearly has ability but it is being wasted and he is not asked to dictate play from the middle of the field. arsenal currently do not have a midfield. Rice is hiding in a back five and Odegaard is hiding in a front 5. No midfield

I questioned whether he would be able to play for Arsenal in their system as a holding midfielder. And your assertion that he is the best DM in the league on paper shows you that you dont actually watch him play because if you did you would actually see that he is not operating as a DM but as a CB. You point out that Arsenal has an improved defensive record this season compared to last. Yet somehow they are 13 points down from last season. Is this because they have improved? Did Rice make them better? They might be better defensively because now they are playing with 5 CB with Rice being one of them. So basically Arsenal are fielding almost the same team with Rice and Havertz being the only 2 new players. Havertz does not start every game. So you have to assume that it is Rice who is causing this Arsenal team to be worse than they were last season. But then again he is the best on paper lol. Grow up and stop being a sheep.
