You can eat Marang seed to😍🤗 Dry it in sunlight and then roasted it in a pan or fry it with oil in pan, it taste good.

You can find marang only in mindanao. Its difficult to find marang in luzon. In manila people dont know what is marang. Sometimes you can find marang is some sm malls in manila but it cost around 200-300 per piece.

buko pie here in Batangas are very popular during 80s and 90s they sold almost on every corner, vendors also climb on every bus on traffic and sell buko pie

The marang seeds can be cooked and eat like peanuts. Make sure to dry it for an hour in the sun and cooked it in dry pan like cooking coffee beans.

If you stay in Ilo-Ilo, you are near in Antique . You can visit Mararison iland in Culasi.. they have a white sand there and a clear sea water. And try to eat (lumboy) duhat, its a kind of plum taste like a black cherry but its more sweet and soft than black cherry.

That size of buco pie should be only 30-40 pesos in rest of Phils. only in boracay and malls costs that much. Yes Marang is one of my fav. Includes pineapple mango ponkan mangosteen jackfruit buco avocado lansones watermelon melon app le grapes.

They also sell buko pies in malls here in Iloilo City. Try Palang's buko pie. I think they have it in SM City food court if I'm not mistaken 🙂

It was so hard for me to stay in East Asia because I didn't have fresh yummy tropical fruits. I got so sad looking at apples and pears. Old, bland imported bananas made me really, really sad. I could find imported dried mango in the grocery store, but it was around $6 for a small bag... And the price of chocolate was ungodly. I love to eat tablea straight with sugar. But my only option was crazy expensive name brand chocolate. Oh, I was so sad in East Asia.
