One thing I’ve always wondered is why C-section is so pushed on this breed of dogs because in the 1800s were they really doing C-sections? I understand when they have 8-10 pups but if it’s a small liter I feel there is no need. What’s your thoughts?

Amount of pups has nothing to do with it. It’s about the anatomy of the breed. I’m sure lots of dogs died. Lots of people died in the 1800s from basic stuff. C sections are absolutely necessary for bulldogs. You can try natural but soon as you see them struggle you better be on your way to emergency vet. C sections are very basic & simple procedure so it just makes sense to birth that way instead of loosing puppies & the mother. I’ve watched multiple bulldogs go into labor & NOT be able to pass pups.

Good morning. my frenchie is due to go in heat any day now. I currently feed them chicken,mix veg, pumpkin,rice,spinach, i add strawberries, cucumber (cantaloupe, peaches when i have) i use fish oil and dog bone broth. so when she's in heat/ pregnant should i add a dry food or anything else? do i also use a prenatal or iron or anything?

What do you use to “activate” the kibble? Water? Chicken or beef broth?

Thanks for the info… What’s the recommended dosing on Fenugreek for a frenchie and I watched some other vids on Fenugreek and it was stated once you see the bitch producing milk to Stop giving it due to potentially causing mastitis… Any truth to that? Also is the Folic acid given the entire pregnancy or do I stop the folic once i start the fenugreek… My guess on Pantera is 8…
