Probably the only time i agree with the 4 blowhards. Never rated Trent Barrett's coaching ,,,seems really brittle and doesn't do man management that well. Flanagan is going to be the next Luke Brooks if they don't manage it well

I agree mate, Trent told the media "Yeah there were problems during the week" when asked about their attack during training. Like you don't tell the media that sort of crap, it shows that you have no confidence in the players/team, fair enough you say that to them during training and team meetings, but you don't go saying it to the media. He has no idea.

Kyle is a wonderful player and he was even points scoring with Cleary when at the Roosters. Then he was surrounded by a great team and a supportive coaching staff. The difference is that he was given a half rate coach that has little to no real ability coaching wise. It was obvious that Barrett didn’t like Flanagan because he was signed just before he got there. He left the young bloke after he moved from the Roosters on his own with no true guidance. His confidence levels were down, he was in a new club with a different environment and he needed a good coach. Unfortunately he coped Barrett. Great player but he still shows he is a 2nd rate coach. I hope Kyle holds his own and gets back to his best and shows The Doggies coaching staff where to go once another club takes over his contract. He would be a able to walk on water if he had a coach like Bellamy. Go Kyle rip in mate, show em how good you are! We know you got the goods son!

He would have Shaun Johnson outside of him calling the majority of the plays in the attacking zone with Reece Walsh so he wouldnt have that pressure on him. Wayde Egan feeding him good ball from dummy and playing behind our big Warriors pack. He would go good. All he would have to do is make sure we get to the back end of sets to get a kick away and aim up in defence

Melbourne often look that comfortable by halftime that they could literally “coast” in cruise control for the 2nd half & still win, but as you referenced, any players not pulling their weight will absolutely cop it from him.

The Dogs really dont have much to lose, everyone is writing them/him off, so its a win win, he may surprise, and if they get flogged, all will say, was always going to happen. Penrith are a great side, but their forwards do the damage, and their backs do everything at speed, and high intensity

I think Flanno needed that time in reserve grade to find his confidence. The timing isn't great but I think the kid will go well with a try assist or 2.

Kyle Flanagan and the bulldogs’ treatment towards him is why Trent barret should go asap. I can’t believe I’m saying this, but these 4 are 100% right. They try a non-halfback, a halfback that has been tried and failed and is off contract, before they consider Flanagan. Not a single second in the trials with burton. If they get flogged they better not blame him. Trent has to go, look at manly when he was there…

As a dogs fan since late 70's I reckon the Club talk about their DNA but on the low down they (the influencers) are (giving the club a bad look) throwing the cat under the bus, which looks like a deflection to protect the team / management / coach so Flannagan cops the spray from the fans. Bazza needs to just be the parent and put some trust in the players (kids) instead of micro managing.

Trent Barrett isn’t a coach. He should be gone tomorrow. He has been the at the forefront of Jackson Hastings being dropped to reserve grade and now Kyle and everyone has seen how well these guys have played in the past. Jackson moved on to play some of his best footy in England but unfortunately he is now at the tigers.

Also Sean O'Sullivan is a good playmaker and will always be backup to Luai and Cleary, the Bulldogs should target him. Harris-Tavita and Kodi Nikorima also both off contract
