Got to keep in mind that the Birmingham stop was in the middle of their UK tour leg which im sure was in the middle of a bigger tour, I saw them in Glasgow not long before the Birmingham show, also got to take into account that Matt had throat surgery back in The Poison era so its maybe harder for him to recover out on tour or maybe he actually can't reach the notes and the album recording was edited, a professional Audio Engineer can work wonders in a studio

Matt really became the rhythm guitar in the band, in the album "The Poison" and "Scream aim fire" Matt did a lot of riffs, almost the same as Paget and still played a few solos, but this new album he plays almost nothing of riffs and i have not seen him making guitar solos of any of the new songs. He cut his hair, changed the guitar, lost his voice, something is really wrong .-.

The surgery was in 2007, and after surgery Matt recovered and still had a great voice, so that the vocal on the album Scream Aim Fire is impeccable. But in the last two years his voice is increasingly damaged with this and they increasingly difficult to sing, Matt also play guitar solos, this is not to be rhythm guitar, but in this album he makes almost no riffs, which I meant that much has changed, so that the new album is much lower than the previous albums.

It's not that he can't reach the notes....he's a little off key and it's really hard to get back on key once you start in the wrong key...I don't know if he recovers because my internet provider is SHIT but I think he sounds pretty good, looking past that, you can hear that it would of sounded a LOT better would it have been in key :3

they're already pretty low tuned to begin with. Although some might not consider drop C low tuned, any lower begins to seem like they're trying to be douche by attempting to be as "heavy" as possible.

I didn't like it at first either. Trust me I hated all of it but I'll be honest it's grown on me. You have to be willing to accept when a band changes. Let me ask you, are you a musician? Because playing a lot of the same music does get old after a while and I believe that is what causes a band to change. I will support BFMV until the day I die.
