so excited you’ve started a journal! the intention of these flip throughs is to be inspirational not discouraging :). if you can’t keep up with all the art and aesthetic aspects of bujo that’s 100% cool! i just posted a video last weekend about how to start a bullet journal, and in it i talked about the spectrum between art and productivity in your bujo (and where you can fall on that line). i hope you continue journaling, even if you don’t focus on the decorated aspects of your bujo 😄

thank you so so much! i edit on davinci resolve and in the color tab there's an option to add a node. in that node i block out a section of the video and then blur it that way. if you need a more in-depth explanation dm me on ig and i can help you out :))

Hi mingo studio! All your artwork is so beautiful and creative, and althought I'm pretty experienced with calligraphy, I can't imagine myself painting like that! You are amazing! I just had one question. How exactly do the health, habit and wellness trackers work? I noticed that you fill in dark squares, but I can't figure out what they mean exactly. Again, great video and a huge thank you!

thank you so much! for the habit trackers i usually have a bar above each calendar of boxes where i'll label the habit i'm tracking (for ex. taking my vitamins,) and then every day that i complete it i fill in the box. my health trackers vary, although i think i only did one in june here.... anyway but i will color in that mini calendar with a different color (from the key of symptoms,) and then write a more detailed explanation of that symptom in the blanks below. so rn for the health tracker i'm really only marking what days i'm unwell, and the days i'm perfectly healthy are left blank. hope this is helpful! :)

thank you! most of my stationery is linked in the description box but just generally i use sakura pigma microns or ohuhu fineliners for lineart, and then tombow fudenosukes for calligraphy :). and the black paper i glued in with glue dots or double sided tape!

for coloring in my drawings (water based markers) i use tombow dual brush pens, crayola supertips, and ohuhu color markers :). again they’re mostly linked in my description boxes

not to hate on you but as someone who struggles to draw anything other than characters, especially girls, i find it baffling that you like your themes with people in it but not as much the ones that don't when you clearly struggle to get the proportions right. A lot of the ballerinas honestly have short legs and long torsos and neck, and a lot of the characters were colour streaky but the cupids in the february theme as well as the croissant were insanely good
