She keeps pushing me to start casting. Because, I enjoy the process. I will see you on Fridays my friend. I leave you with this.. HEY YOU GUYS!!!!!!!!! Do the truffle shuffle lol!!!!!!!
@ronnie0817 Жыл бұрын
I recommend doing it if it's something you're interested in man. Even just a hobby or a once awhile thing there's no better time than now. Also if your wife is pushing you to do it she knows enough that you'll be good and enjoy it. Plus it could be extra $$ for you if you need it. But honestly my advice don't put off your desires or keep saying one day because you might not get the opportunity to fulfill them. Trust me man I know firsthand there's so many things like this and machining I'd love to do but I'll never get the opportunity due too a severe injury leaving me paralyzed with little arm movement. So if you have the opportunity don't miss it you never know what could happen and hopefully never does.

Question for you. If brass is overheated and zinc oxide is formed, does that effect the composition of the brass? Does it require adding zinc the next time you cast with the remaining brass? Always a treat to sit back and watch you play. Finally got my Devil Forge. International shipping is hit or miss right now. But the kept in communication thru the whole time and it is beautiful. Got it "painted" and can't wait to fire it up on my next day off. Got a few feet of braided aluminum wire from a friend at the power company I can't wait to melt. Thanks again for the advice and the discount. Happy Melting.

The brushed and polished look on the tokens looks sick. It makes the design really pop.

Love the channel. My brother and I always wash our brass in warm soapy water before melting because spent casings are absolutely filthy with dirt, oil, and powder residue. Seems to make the melt a little cleaner.

Thank you for slowing that one casing down extra for everybody...also...quite glad you made sure to only melt spent rounds, those 3 could've ended the channel.

These smelting uploads are just so satisfying to watch. I want to learn how to do this.

My favorite movie from when I was a kid was "The Swiss Family Robinson". The kid in that movie and I were about the same age. I've always wanted to have that kind of an adventure.

My favorite movie was "Back to the Future" I wasn't a little child when it was released but it is definitely my favorite movie!!! As far as when I was young then I'd say the movie "Grease" was my favorite, that is until the EPIC MOVIE of Back to the Future came out. I don't think there will ever be a better movie made.... ever!!

Good thing you checked to see if there were any live rounds. That could have been a major disaster if that went off in the furnace. Awesome bars add to the stack today.
