I just leave them raised in the 19, your strength is in your low speed acceleration, lift might be nice to have but drag isn’t so the trade off isn’t generally worth it imo.

is the plane list different for siria on ECW?

A bit, the F-1 is Blue on Caucasus and Red on Syria, and at least as far as I’m aware, the Tomcat and MiG-29 aren’t playable on Caucasus, just Syria.

I haven’t been following it that closely but my understanding was that Caucasus was for the shit missiles and excluded the better aircraft

@@ltankhsd Yeah I’m aware of that but I thought it only applied to Syria. I could well be wrong but I didn’t encounter any, or even the mention of any whilst flying on Caucasus last time it was up.

The rest of the aircraft are limited to earlier models of missile in the Caucasus map. MIG-19 is more on par with no head on launches.

It’s not that I prefer it, it’s just that it’s where it stands the best chance of doing well because everyone is limited to very early missiles that you don’t need countermeasures to dodge.
