I’m not sure about anyone else, but, lyrically (of course), this album seems like it’s talking about leaving an abusive relationship, whether it be with family or friends. I know that a lot of hardcore fans don’t really like it because they’re “going soft”, but I think it fits the message of the album; getting away from the anger, the hate, the self-loathing, and being free from it and learning that what happened was normal, nor was it healthy. I resonate with this album strongly, and I often have to try not to cry because of how real and personal the words feel to me.

This album was dedicated basically to his divorce he was going through with his wife, from what I heard. I think people look past that and just go "this sux I want the poison again". I think it is really lovely and was the first album I listened to when I went through my break up, and whether it is an unpopular opinion or not...it's my favourite album of theres.

Bullet for my Valentine EP (2004) - 9/10 “Hand of blood” is still a banger. The Poison (2006) 9.5/10 Strong 1st album and I was rocking “Her Voice Resides” all throughout elementary school. Scream Aim Fire (2008) - 10/10. Everything was amazing. “Waking the Demon” and “Hearts Burst into Fire” are the epitome of that album👌🏼. Fever (2010) - 8.5/10 I do remember I wasn’t as satisfied when I first heard it but over time it grew on me especially w/ “Bittersweet Memories”😎. Temper Temper (2013) - 5/10 You could tell their record label told them what to write; and making a “sequel” to Tears Don’t Fall? Cmon, they can do better. Venom (2015) - 8/10 it was pretty cool to hear them going back to their original sound😯, but lets mix it up you know. Gravity (2018) - 8.5/10 I love seeing bands doing their thing and making music that doesn’t sound the same again and again. Seriously, go out and socialize with people with different music tastes and open your mind up to other music genres and you’ll realize why “heavy” music isn’t the only music on the planet. Music never expires and you’re free to listen to their older stuff whenever

Am I the only one who likes the album so far? I know it's different from everything the band has done in the past, but change isn't bad as long as the artist do something crearive with it. So far they've kept the melodic side of what made Bullet Bullet in the first place, the incorporations of electronics into their sound just compliments the riffs rather than drowning them. Not their best work, but it's still pretty good record on its own. No matter what, i'll keep listening to Bullet. 🤘

I love that they are continuing to grow as a band and trying different avenues than they have in the past. Personally I really like this album, and just because I like it doesn’t mean I’m suddenly not a metal fan, I listen to a lot of different music. From panic at the disco, to system of a down, to slipknot, and I love all different songs for different reasons, I love “the end” from poison because it’s slow and really heavy aswell. But I love this because his voice just gives me goosebumps and it is beautiful. Just because people like their new stuff doesn’t make them not a fan of bullet. It’s just an opinion chill the fuck out. If I want to relax I’ll listen to this, if I want to punch someone in the face I’ll listen to people=shit live London 2002.
