Classic, I Don't mean anything rude with it, but jake said in beginning of the week that the bulls are in it to win it, but there was no game plan

I put the blame 100% on the PTA media guys, treating JW like he is the Masais of BBM, over the years he had been entrusted to steer the BB ship! JW talks like he just got this gig, if I'm not mistaken he's been in-charge since 2020 I believe & in my view no1 if you a professional (in any position) proper planning should be done to achieve success, no 2 he's the 1 that needs to create pathways for all players from Jr to the most senior level of players & coaches in my opinion. The only media reporter or journalist in my opinion that kept JW accountable to all stakeholders (BBM shareholders, BB fans & paying rugby viewers) is Ashfak I think is he's name for over the years I have been following media briefings. Some of them even had the audacity to question he's line of questioning & this while they lack the moral & ethical compass for the role they took up & that is to investigate & report the truth to the (rugby) public. BUT hey not my monkey, not my circus BBM.

You don't just have depth. Depth doesn't fall out the and land on your lap. Depth is built. Jake is building depth. In a year or 2 it will all fall into place.

Bro this guy keeps crying about our overseas players. We have a massive player pool because of that system. Young players are getting opportunities in SA because of it. If he was SA coach he would view it differently

Say that again bra! I completely disagree with Jake. We encourage players to work hard and become professional rugby players. They have 10 to 15 years(if they are lucky) in their profession. During that time, they have to make enough for themselves and their families. To say to them that they must choose between their dream of playing for the Springboks or making enough in their limited careers is cruel. I say this because we know that not all of them are ever going to wear the green and gold. The horizon of Jake's bigger picture is the South African franchises and their triumph in the URC and the Champions Cup( and I totally get it from him and the incentives he has as a franchise coach). But the bigger picture should encompass the whole South African rugby community, and that means all the South African rugby players who putting in the work and have chosen this sport as their professional career. Like you said Mark, Jake must hire scouts and send them out there! He will be surprised at however many Synmans, Jessie Kriels and Malcolm Marx's there in SA...
