weren't the nicest person is sugarcoating it a little, in their perspective, Frisk nearly killed most of them twice. One for the normal playthrough and the other by attacking Asriel since every Monster was watching the fight from within Asriel and could feel the pain Asriel felt. (This is explained within that unique Asriel phase it's self and some additional dialogue around the outpost.) It caused them to think irrationally sure, but how else could they really react to this? This ending... makes no sense no matter which way you slice it. Mind you you don't even need to be THAT much of an asshole to get this ending. All you need to do is bully spare 30 monsters, which you can do even if you never go out your way to grind, and attack the Lost Souls. That's it. You can rescue Monster Kid and gain the respect of Undyne as a fellow warrior, you can call Toriel mom, you can do nothing wrong other than attacking people who are trying to kill you and you'll be left to slowly suffocate / freeze to death alone by monsterkind. I know the game tries to justify it with "Asriel's fear gets amplified into every monster", but I dunno, it just doesn't land as enough build-up to give us an ending that's literally a worse fate for Frisk than Genocide. So what, this fear they inherited from Asriel was so strong that it made Undyne forget she respected our choices and was better friends with us than she is in the normal Pacifist route? Made Papyrus, goddamn Papyrus the guy willing to stand infront of us with open arms in runs where we murder everyone, lose faith in us? Made Toriel willing to abandon a child? What about after some time passes and the fear subsides, does nobody ever realize that what they did was unnecessarily cruel? At least, enough for literally anyone to come back and help us? Or does that fear never run out? It just demolishes every monster's character for shock value and a "being a bully is bad m'kay" message.
@nhack5137Ай бұрын
Lmao it's a good ending for the wrong route, I like the concept of being left to die but you didint kill anyone or go after all the monsters to bully, you just were acting in self defense and they ignore that characters personalities like papyrus and toriel + you literally are the reason they could leave but they still left you for punching some monsters that are always trying to kill u lmao

Yea the ending bully number requirement should be higher, To me It seemed like It's not that They inherited fear from Asriel, It's more like the beating You give to Asriel actually affects all of Them at once since He has Their souls, Also You literally beat a god and They probably never acknowledged until then that a human child could easily kill Them all xD

I get why people think this route is unfair to Frisk, and in a way it kind of is considering our control over them, but the reason everyone fled was probably because of their fear of humanity being brought back. I like how people opinion on this ending is "omg it's so good" or "it's doesn't make sense at all". Moral dilemmas and freedom of choice is one of core thesis of OG undertale, and ps outertale is expended it a lot. In OG amd most of all other fangames there is "despite every choice if it's still pacifist is ultimately good" and "any murder route is bad no matter what". But in ps, we can see how our actions actually changes the story and the world around. It's shows that even if you isn't kill everyone, that it's mean you can't cause pain to others and be actual villain of the story, shows selfish and actually evil side of monsterkind, and much more. It's nothing strange that people discussing every ending and has a different thoughts about them, that actually good. UTY, TS! Swap, Deltatraweler and many more of modern fangames were mostly super polished in every aspect, and people have not much complains about them. Фриск напрямую повлиял на их спасение, не смотря на несколько агрессивный метод примирения, а они по итогу плюнули ему в лицо и улетели. ok i think this ending is bad, i cant understand why the monsters support you only for leaving you die, doesnt make sense, feels like a meme ending (if this ending is only a joke is ok i think)

When you fight Asriel and The Lost Souls in a violent way rather than by acting it out as in other pacifists, because of the way monsters experience the fight while absorbed as well as because Asriel's fear of you, basically all of this trauma becomes internalised into every soul he absorbed and heightened to extremely high proportions. As a result the monsters act irationally towards you after they are released. Its not becasue monsters, its becasue asriel's unnatural fear and trauma towards frisk got passed down to every monster's soul and mind, therefore making them act irrationaly against ya and abandoning you.

That ending is fucked up, they have no right to leave a child that may i remind you SAVED THEM AND DIDN'T KILL ANYONE. They should have at least leave a shuttle for Frisk. This is the worst ending of the game, and no i don't mean it in a good way, this ending should not have existed.j

Fr. I see what they were going for. Bullying people will leave you alone in the dark nothingness. But it didnt have to involve the characters betraying their characterization in the run Papyrus forgives you even if you do worse. And undyne respects your fighting spirit. Half of toriels character is trying so hard to protect a human child, because theyre a child lmao. Shes literally the former queen. Wouldn't she do anything in her authority and actual power to help frisk? Sure, they punched a god a few times, but that was literally in order to save them Everyone leaving you to die is out of their normal character. Its like they got mind controlled by the fear I think a better execution of this would be if the monsters still feared you, but still liked you. So a monster wide vote is made or something to give you a shuttle, but to leave without them and dont give location. Frisk can then die by accident, slowly, in their search for a homeworld. The game can still give the player the sense that cruelty is bad and leaves you alone, all while not character assassinating everyone

@@barneythemusicmaker1098 The thing is that just walking foward and spare-bullying them alone doesn't get you that end, you really NEED to be an asshole, insult people, abandon Monster Kid when Undyne chases you and FR chase monsters to almost kill them (basically genocide without actually killing) You even get the message for encounters "But everyone ran..."

@@antunderexist692 Yeah, nobody cares about the weird convoluted justification given. It makes no sense no matter which way you slice it. So what, this supernatural fear was so strong that it made Undyne forget she respected our choices and was better friends with us than she is in the normal Pacifist route? Made Papyrus, goddamn Papyrus the guy willing to stand infront of us with open arms in runs where we murder everyone, lose faith in us? Made Toriel willing to abandon a child? What about after some time passes and the fear subsides, does nobody ever realize that what they did was unnecessarily cruel? Or does that fear never run out? What about Asriel? He stays behind in the outpost normally, did he go with the monsters in this route, despite not wanting any of them to see him? It doesn't make sense and it's very difficult to make it make sense.

People defending this route is honestly disappointing, it makes no sense that they would let the one that saved them die, no one is even considering that every last one of the monsters that frisk hurt attacked them first, so it was self defense, being realistic you can't get away from a fight by acting, the most realistic and good act frisk can do is fight back and then let them off, but no monster is even able to consider it? That besides the point that they literally hung out with Frisk and know they are not a threat, and the point that they are 100% going to face more humans in the future, so they short of just murdered their savior for defending theirselves. Makes them deserve the genocide route.

It’s not self defense if you’re making the first move
@barneythemusicmaker10982 ай бұрын
@@edencaraballo1858 But the monsters encountering you is sort of the first move. Whenever a monsters name is not blue or yellow, a monster wants to fight and KILL you (in most cases). This means that when u encounter a monster, frisk can do literally nothing and the monster will attack anyway. This is further shown in genocide. When you encounter monsters in geno, their names are blue from turn 1. they dont want to fight you, in fact they want you to let them go. In geno, frisk dictates the battle, but that isnt the same in bully the monsters in bully want to kill you. if we're going by an in universe pov, frisk has no obligation to not fight at all. If you fell underground and fought monsters, wouldnt you defend yourself? Same case in the Asriel battle. He threatens to take over the timeline, erase your memories, and "keep playing" over and over again. Thats him saying he'll kill frisk over and over, since that happens in the neutral twinkly battle. Frisk had the right to fight back there too The monsters in this route always attack first. And, to even achieve the full pacifist version as shown in the vid, u have to hang out and prove yourself a nice person. Undyne even respected me in my run. Why couldnt her royal guard captain influence convince the monsters to give Frisk their own pod? And Undyne's dialogue in the phone call is weird. It's like she forgot about you being a friend. Weird ending

You gave up As the core gave it final push The air slowly drifted away You begin to choke You remember your adventures You remember your hell As nothing happened As the space continues to spin You met your end …it done Your fate is up to someone now. What do you do in battle? You just need to hit monsters until their names are blue. If they aren't turning blue, then it's a bug I think. You can turn developer mode (press settings in the menu, then press alt+left (left 2 times) and from there weaken them.
