I hope the writers noticed the one crucial plot hole in the game, Mortimer wants to introduce "democracy" to society to better control people. And this game is about a fictional council that can't do anything without the votes being unanimous. There's a certain irony in that. I hope the ending isn't Mortimer orders his children to possess all the guests.

I suspect Emma's dead dead because she didn't know she was a demon, and therefore, also doesn't know how to seperate her soul from her body in the first place. I think being 'Trapped' in the body as it dies is what kills them, and well, not knowing how to get out counts.

Alongside everything else, the cartoony, music feels really wrong and undermines the scenes. My favourite being Louis talking about whether he should embrace his demonic nature or not and a silly, whimsical musical sting plays over it randomly.

This game is so strange... whats wrong with their faces!? Is it because theyre all daemons?

Seems to me they intended the faces to look a lot better, but ended up unable to use all the effects and shaders they were textured for. There is a lot of fine detail, but poor definition of shapes makes them just messy. My bet is they originally looked pretty good in the character trait screen, but performance of entire scenes turned out poor, which the devs didn't anticipate, because hey, the entire game is just people talking in rooms.

They liked the caricature faces of Dishonoured but lacked the skill to realise them. Then they gave a cartoon face pores and created the unholy juxtaposition you see before you.
