Was just telling my husband your farmhouse is going to be absolutely gorgeous when the renovations are complete!! Beautifully crafted oak window, Mark! From a slab of oak to a lovely window. The bricks removed & lime-rendered wall, Mandy. What a hard working gal you are!! Blessings!! 🇺🇸

You guys do such wonderful work - bedroom wall and attic's new window - amazing. Fly free is a good zone to be in.

Yeah, I like using those Japanese saws. Very handy for such a small saw.

Great video. How many more rooms in the house need to be done. Also could you perhaps do a walk about of the property to show the garden and the clearing the you have done. I loved the new window frame. Even without a proper work bench it looks amazing. Have a great week.

You both are a great team. I take it your knuckle was OK after. I would have swore the big one! Great job on the render and window. I enjoy hearing some of the British slang. My mom had a lot of that, too. I am sure you both have quite a bit of fun and laughter together. Keep it coming. ❤

nice, thanks for your vlogs. do you mix horse hair into lime plaster?
@ourfrenchrenovation8 ай бұрын
Thanks, no we don't add anything but when we do the outside we probably will!
@martinfrancis32858 ай бұрын
@@ourfrenchrenovation ive always done it the other way round. the horse/goats hair acts as a binding agent on the backing coat. you simply tease it into your mix and do large batches at a time as lime will last for a long time when sealed for storeage. ive some i my cellar from 12yrs ago that i can remix. anyway thanks for the vlogs, i enjoy them greatly.
