Love the ferret camera 🤣🤣🤣 Bumping is a technique I've never really tried much. I did wreck a lock I did a bit of practice on but managed to repair it. So nice to hear the relief of the customers with a dropped snib. Cheers Andy 😉👍🏻 Always worth a good thumbs up

i's still catching up on content. Bumping is something I haven't tried even though I have a full set if bumpkeys for common Australian locks. I saw a video once with a new lock being bumped and they showed a closeup of the pins before and after in answer to the question does bumping damage the lock. Well the pins were pretty banged up after being bumped once. So after seeing that I didn't want to risk any damage to my then small lock collection so i never used my gear. I have a lot of salvage yard locks now that I could use to practice on. This video has inspired me to give it ago as a skill to learn now that I have begun doing locksmith work. Only occasionally and through word of mouth when I am well enough to do it. Thanks for this video, cheers

Good content as per mate. You can buy harder leads for the Pica online. I prefer the tracer but run the harder Pica leads in them.

A was laughing to my self with the garage door , was the exact same about 2 weeks ago but a didn’t just spend 5 mins trying to pick it a spent about 20 lol , had epg, bump keys , rake , then magi burr lol 😂 lock was getting changed any way but what a nightmare for a euro cylinder.

Hey Alan. I think I have a slight advantage when it comes to fitting locks to timber doors, but that’s all really. The majority of locksmithing doesn’t involve carpentry at all 👍🏼 Are you thinking of becoming a locksmith?
