Oh the Joys of tearing into an Older vehicle .... Finding all the unseen problems that you didn't count on....and having to deal with them, (or not) before you move on toward your intended task.... Looking good guy's...also looking forward to seeing the A/C install....

My 72' Camper Special came with a H code 390 and Vintage Air.... Just roll the windows down :) Love your videos!

Good stuff! Keep the F100 videos coming. Looks like you will...for a while.. :) I still have the factory integral AC setup but it doesn't work. I'd be very interested to see you putting in the Vintage AC system in that truck.

Great episode gents! I'm very much looking forward to your AC episode(s) as I have a 71 F100 myself that NEEDS AC. I don't see a listing for the system on the Vintage Air website. Do you have a link to share?

i hope that Vintage makes a ac kit for a 302 67 F-100.

Yep. All the same stuff. We'll be doing the install as soon as the parts get here. 302 will only require existing brackets (from Vintage or yours). Everything else is the same.

AutoRestoMod Car Restoration Modification cool lol i thought since you have a big block in your truck and mine is a smallblock that there might be a difference. looks like i will have to go to the junkyard. could the brackets be off a car or should they be from a truck.?

The interfenders on those trucks are a little different than the earlier ones

I broke a Inner fender cab bracket bolt off on the firewall. Can those be reached from under the dash?

Aluminium heads and intake would save about 1000 lbs🙌😝

That's roughly $2 a pound...and only $1,000 less than the whole truck set me back! LOL

wait a minute..didnt you guys already check this motors stroke out and it came up to be 3.780 ???...a 428's stroke is 3.980 ...well either way a 390 or 428..both are good ...if you find out you actually have the 3.980 stroke..it could also be the 66/67 merc 410

Ford put all manner of crazy things in the engine Bays including an Onan generator. Dual battery setups we're not uncommon either.
