Good vid guys, just inherited a pickup from my Dad that my Granddad bought new. Its a 69 Chevrolet C20 Camper Special which is largely different than this one, but ts cool to see someone fixing up a pickup instead of another muscle car.

Love any episode that you work on Col. Mustard! I was mistaken before...my cab mounts are fine. It's the rubber bushings that are shot. They look like month-old meadow muffins. Love the new cameras and the production, also. Looks next-level. Can't wait to see part 2.

Jeff & Cam.... Nice video guy's.... With the exception of the Grills ,,, the removal of the complete frontend sheetmetal is the same from '67 right threw '79 .... The outer sheetmetal shape was the big change...

Why not just pull the front clip off as a whole unit? If I remember right you can remove the bolt behind the door, under the fender (near the cab I think), the 3 bolts near the hood hinge and the front body mounts.....then the whole front clip comes off in one piece. Saves a lot of work and less parts to loose.I may have forgoten a bolt or two but that's the jist of it.

That is actually a very clean F100. I drove from Ohio to South Carolina to purchase my '72. I've been working on it ever since. I could use your help!

LOL So could we! There will be a good bit on this truck for a while. We'll be doing other things in the meanwhile but the Col. will be a top feature.

if you mentioned this before I missed it, why are these trucks called "Bumpsides"?
@olmoe1167
@olmoe1167 6 жыл бұрын
They are called this due to the shape of the metal of the Body Lines, were the Trim is mounted on the sides of the Truck....'67 - '72 it is raised outwards.....Thus, "Bumpsides"... The '73 - '79 Trucks are called, "Dentsides"...Due to the fact the Body lines where the side trim is, is Sunken in .... Hope this helps....

The '61 to '66 trucks are called "Slicks". I think that the '58-'60s are called "Bricks".

Sometimes I can't tell in Premiere where the volume will be when it hits KZbin. is it a volume issue or a style issue? We are also trying a new service for music and the stuff we picked was a bit "heavier" than normal. I try and pick music that "goes" with the situation, we did "heavy lifting" so the music is a bit more driven. Thanks for the input.
