Interesting fun fact, Bayer Leverkusen gain a new record which will be very difficult to surpass and also lose an old record which will be very difficult to ever be matched again. The record they gain is the longest period of time in seasons from a Bundesliga debut to winning a first title (45 seasons), beating the previous record of both Kaiserslautern and Borussia Dortmund (28 seasons) The record they lose is being the only club never to have won a domestic league title yet to have played in a Champions League final. Congratulations to Bayer Leverkusen and Xabi Alonso for their triumph. Made what is very difficult look so easy, strolled to the title, never felt or looked under pressure and an historic unbeaten season and treble may yet be on the horizon. All the heartache and pain those fans who were old enough to be at the stadium for in 2002 with the Treble Horror of losing three trophies in two weeks suffered was probably finally fully healed earlier today after 22 years. Would have loved to have been at BayArena today to have experienced what those fans on the pitch felt at the final whistle.

Desde el 2020 el Bayern Munich tiene más liga que todos los clubes alemanes restantes juntos. Increíble la supremacía. Una de las ligas menos competitivas del mundo, me hace acordar a la liga uruguaya aunque ahí al menos hay 2 clubes predominantes, en la bundesliga solo 1.
