Bundling Winter Nucs

Its getting late and there is a Nor-Easter on the way. This is one of the ways I bundle up Winter nucs to help them get through the Winter.

One of your feeding rim has a exit hole for bees. Don't you worry about heat lost for the nuc if you leave a top entrance?

No both exits are very small and they cope well with that.

How far is this yard from your house? Noticing its right along a road but not much traffic.

Not till late Feb or March when I check food stores. They easily have enough right now.
