Good Repair Lance probably last another 50 years. Something I didn't know was the TE20 came with foot plates. Most Ferguson tractors I have seen over the years didn't have any, and those that did I thought were after market ones. I always though the FE35 was the first to have foot plates. Thanks for the enlightenment.

They were available as an accessory only I believe. Possibly not available from the start but came along as needed.

Great video. Honest repair… not covering up anything with paint is the best way to go… there’s no shame in the odd patch on these old parts, gives them the lived in look. Happy New Year. Keep up the good work.

Foot plates look way more comfortable than the standard pegs. My feet ache after being on the TEA20 for over 4 hours slashing, so this look like a "must have". Oh well, something to make up in the workshop. Thanks for the video Lance.

I've got a question, i figured you're the right one to ask since you rebuilt one of these pumps in an old video. Got a Rotodiesel pump on my 2040 tractor and I had a hell of a time bleeding the injectors. I finally got them purged of air enough for it to run, but now I can't stop the tractor with the stop knob. It doesn't cut off fuel at all. And the stop that it rests against when it's in the run position I would think it's supposed to hit when you turn the tractor off but it doesn't go that far. Do you think it could be because the tractor has been sitting for a few years and the diesel/potential water has made it all rusty? ( The peace inside that stops fuel ) I know there was rust in the lines. It's starting to run better on its own it just won't shut off with the cut off valve. Read the comments on your other video. There were plenty of people talking about how they couldn't get fuel into the tractor but they weren't talking about how I couldn't stop it. Figured i would ask before I take it far enough a part to try and fix it. But do you think if I remove the top bleeder I could get enough access to get penetrating oil on it?
