Nice work! When it gets hot or you give it a good run, re tension the head and check the tappets and it will be good for a long time.

Very helpful as I'm just about to do this exact same job!! The previous 'technician' put the head gasket in dry whilst also skipping a bunch of other gaskets on the head and going with RTV instead. I also suspect head nuts were not tight given the effort you put in and the effort I didn't put in to get them undone...

No There will be a story on the washer next week. apparently it shouldnt and didnt have one. (Im bloody sure it had one but the footage says different)

Yes on the side just below where the head bolts on, mine is on the left rear.
