Great effort Lance. You always reduce people’s stress with your very detailed explanation including excellent camera angles. Again I say that I rebuilt my injection pump following your instructions. Thank you and good luck.

Thanks Barry, I had to block one shop due to the shitty comments that went on for months accusing me of ruining the industry. He was persistent if nothing else.

Great work as usual Lance, very well done video. Helping people like myself out all over the world. Not sure if you'll know, but my pump is quite similar, except it has a solenoid on the bottom that holds the cam ring in. The shaft between the head and rotor had broken, so i took it out and have a replacement. The only thing i cant work out is where the little 1/4" by 1/4" spring came from that dropped out when i took out the head. Would you have any idea? Anyway, thanks for all the help, you really are a great bloke 👍

I think the spring you are referring to might be under the little shuttle valve in the end cap.

@BundyBearsShed thanks for getting back to me Lance. Turns out it was the spring the that sits behind the rivet in the plate in the top governor housing. Must have fallen down into the body when I was taking it apart. Have it back on now but unfortunately still no diesel after replacing what was a broken head and rotor shaft. You make it look so easy, if only you were a neighbour!
