I'm so happy to hear there will be no PTR. Destiny is one of those games where the content each update is so special, you want people to experience for the first time together. With a PTR, youtubers are going to be making update and review videos for weeks before the content every hits the live game, and for the rest of the game's life i'm going to have to avoid spoilers everywhere I go. Also, I'd encourage anyone to listen to the monthly Bungie podcast if any of you are interested in real behind the scenes discussions. It's usually Luke Smith, Mark Noseworthy, Eric Osborne and the occasional guest. As enjoyable as this Q&A was, they really going into detail behind their thought processes and ideas and stuff on the podcast. Highly recommend it.

I seriously doubt Destiny's dev's are going to open up about the though questions that might be asked. They will probably listen to player feedback but discusses it further internally. A example would be a article i read a while back in Forbes which discussed as to why mentions of The Darkness are being removed from Destiny 2 lore and why The Exo stranger doesn't return. The guy who was being interviewed basically stated that because we ( Bungie ) didn't have a clear idea for The Darkness and what is actually is they are trowing a semi-retcon in Destiny 2 basically removing The Darkness for the story to be reintroduced later when they have a more clear picture and plan of what to do with it. Another problematic thing was The Exo Stranger. The reason why ''she'' doesn't return is because Bungie feels they wrapped up her storyline nicely even though ''she's'' still one of the biggest unsolved mysteries in Destiny but somehow Bungie feels they gave ''her'' a clear ending. Another problem i encountered while playing the Beta is the fact that the 3 new subclasses don't feel balanced at all. Dawnblade is a poor replacement fo Sunsinger and lacks creativity. A flaming sword seriously? Even though we already have to ability to fight with swords why would i want to conjure up a flaming one just to trow some burning waves? Also the Arcstrider isn't that different from the Bladedancer you just traded in your electric blade for a electric staff. A then there is the Sentinel probably the best new subclass introduced. You can conjure up a void shield which blocks damage, shields allies from damage, is throwable and you can melee with it. Giving you a very flexible and creative new Super. And to top it all off you also get to keep your ''Ward of Dawn'' A.K.A the titan's bubble from Destiny 1 basically giving you 2 Super for the price of 1. But if you would ask these questions to Luke Smith then you probably wouldn't get a clear and logical answer but that feedback would be discussed internally just not with us.

Carlos Huiskens You've got a lot of good points there. And Luke Smith is the same guy who said those things about the darkness and the exo stranger. The Exo stranger is specifically one that bothers me, because I felt as though she really had some depth and mystery. Maybe she was part of multiple times lines? Parallel universes? The possibilities seemed infinite. And if those things were true, it quite literally is. I think it was a good sign they sort of put their hands up and said they admitted they painted them self in a corner with some of those storylines. It became too ambitious under it's own weight and lost focus. Given the 3 year track record on how things have gone, I think a level of pessimism is completely understandable at this point. I can't count the number of times I've been disappointed by things they've said or done. But I did spend 1000 hours playing this game because it was a fun world to play in with my friends. I'm just holding onto a small amount of hope that they've learned from their mistakes. Maybe his tone in this video is just a marketing ploy? But I'm hoping against that. I want it to be success. I guess time will tell. As far as the subclasses go, the part in particular to this video that I liked the most was his elaboration a little bit on the way those trees build out. Nova bomb can be something that splits into smaller projectiles, for example. Maybe the balance will better once those are fleshed out. However, you and I both know there's probably going to be some OP insanity in the crucible that wrecks every other class. What I want to see is more videos like this, explaining issues, telling us when and how they are going to fix it. Similar to how Jeff Kaplan does for Overwatch. I feel their communication with their audience is something I've longed to see Bungie do. Again, time will tell!

ßetaJuice .... what? do you really not know how it works at this point? its been discussed and explained constantly. but ill explain it here for you: your primary is now a kenetic weapon, which means it will never have any sort of burn. It does extra damage versus raw health (red bar) and crit spots. Your secondary is an energy weapon which has a burn applied to it. It does less raw damage than a kenetic weapon. However versus sheilds or supers they deal increased damage. All energy types will drain an enemy shield faster than a kenetic weapon. Matching the energy with the shield will cause a large explosion and stun the target as Luke Smith explained. Both of these slots will hold the following known guntypes: handconnons, submachine guns, auto rifles, scout rifles, pulse rifles, and sidearms. Power weapons are very powerful weapons capable of killing enemies quickly. Their ammo drops randomly and from killing majors (yellow bar enemies). Power weapons include the following known archetypes: grenade launchers, rocket launchers, snipers, shotguns, fusion rifles, and fusion snipers.

Sorry but I was speaking of more about the Weapon perks. The weapon abilities that you get with the guns. I will say that I am excited for the grenade launcher, (played the console beta), but I havent been able to find almost anything on the weapon perk rolls other than perks will be set in stone for legendary weapons. The plot hole is that the vault loot isn't bound to only the tower. It can be accessed in other areas. Its all digital not physical.

Read up on "Quantum Entanglement". It's the real-life science behind what your Ghost calls "Transmat". Your weapons, consumables, and even your Sparrows are all being instantly teleported from your Vault or the cargo hold of your Jumpship. Both of which were lost in the siege. When you need specific gear, the Nolandroid pulls it out of storage and pops it into your inventory, regardless of where you are spatially (hence why the Item Manager works when you're in orbit over planets without social spaces).
