No, it is not. After more research on my own condition I can assure type one is not normal. Because the little toe ever so slightly starts leaning over to the other toe. When you compare that with a normal alignment you can see the difference. At first the difference is so slight you don't notice it. I would prefer to not have surgery. Alas, whatever I can do to stop it I will try. But after viewing this, its more difficult than it seems, because the bone that goes farther into the foot, not just where the little toe is, changes. You know, you think: oh this is easy: I will just align the little toe, but the much larger bone the little toe is attached to is undergoing changes. And that I really do not know how to stop from proceeding. Don't know if there is a way. Will find out I guess.
