Thanks for the great video. Very informative on the proper way to fold while taking the camper down. The best Bunkhouse video I've seen yet. Just bought a used one without any instructions. Setting up and tearing down will be a lot simpler now.

We have had our 1997 for 13 years. I love it. We bought it when we had a goldwing motorcycle. We no longer have the bike but we still use it and pull behind our SUV. My sister and I have taken it on a 4000 mile road trip just by ourselves. We camped in the snow in below zero temps with electric blanket and ceramic heater! It stayed very warm. In the over 100 degree heat of the summer, I have taken a small AC unit and placed in the door with zipper pulled down around it....worked like a charm. We also have personal fans hooked up on the inside rail (with electrical cord) above the sleeping area.The electrical cord stays hooked to rail when folding up the camper. All you have to do is plug it into power when you camp and then you also have outlets to plug in coffee pot, cell phones and TV. The bed gets kinda hard after a while (to our over 60+ bodies), so we put down a feather mattress cover which also stays on the bed with comforter, sheets, etc when we fold it up. It has lots of storage room, light weight, and very convenient for those road trips!

Thank you so much for this video. You do such a great job folding the bunkhouse that I use it as a refresher course!

Thank you for demo, I just bought one of these a 97 I think and when the fella I bought it from closed it he had it all wrong. Thought it didn't look correct. I gave $325.00 for mine. Its in excellent condition and has the screened zip on room.

I just as of today bought a used Bunkhouse Camper from a friend of mine and can't wait to try it out tomorrow night !!!! It is a little chilly but we have a heater and we are ready to go !!! I have tent camped for years and also camped in RV's. This will be much more to my liking because it allows me to camp and ride my Gold Wing. Thanks for the video, it really helps to make it easier to set up ! Thanks. Charlie

A cargo trailer company bought Bunkhouse a couple of years ago and then quit making them.

I'm impressed by the storage space of the trailer. Is it accessible when the tent portion is up?

Nice space but too complicated. Get a Leesurlite. Easy, plenty of room, light and a great bed

Thanks for sharing your expertise. I too just bought a 1997 Bunkhouse Estate Motorcycle Tent Trailer with no instructions for putting it up or taking it down. Is the Travel Cover original equipment or did you have that made? If you had it made, may I ask where? I really like the looks of it with the two stripes running the length of the cover and it looks easier to put on also Thanks again, Hoppy Honda VTX1800C

Prices vary. I got a '10 model Aspen Classic in pristine condition for $2000.00. Its sets up in about 2 minutes. Cost new w/ add-ons is about $5,700.00. Search "All of Craigslist" from google to find one available in the U.S.

bad thing is you can not get to your stuff after you set it up?
@godoreese3 жыл бұрын
Yes you can, just lift up half the bed, it is hinged.

Why not just strap a tent to your bike? This whole concept just seems pointless
@kimhorton61095 жыл бұрын
cougarhater1 you are missing the point. As we get older sleeping on the ground gets rough. These are more like sleeping at home. You can enjoy your vacation a lot more if you sleep well.
