Definitely, as someone mentioned in one of the comments below, your review is going help Tata sell hundreds of more cars, and I am the one among them. I had actually paid the booking fees and was eagerly waiting for the launch of the vehicle. After seeing some reviews by some bloggers it confused me whether I am taking a wrong step of purchasing Tata Safari, a dream car when I was young. Some bloggers, including one of the popular Malayalam bloggers were reviewing the vehicle with a negative attitude towards the vehicle. He just drove the car on usual roads and was commenting as if it was a OK vehicle. Don’t know whether he has the guts to drive a car like how Bunny has driven!!! Hats off to this wonderful review. I will now become the owner of Safari with pride and I will show this video to my friends who say what Safari without 4x4 option!!

Nailed it man,with outside the box review. But personally disappointed with 4×2 fwd drivetrain that comes with the legendary badge 'safari'.Previous 400nm 4×4 was a walk in the park off-roader.! except for the cosmetic changes from the 'grown harrier'! thumps down for the discontinuation of the Real safari vibe that the badge brings everytime.:( Also kudos to the soundtrack u brought back through the teasers,that music never dies.✌🏼

I am sure the new kid on the block is a superb suv but i will call it a harrier on steroids not a safari .. and it can never come even close to the older Safari specially the Safari Dicor which was like was a massive fucking African Lion on the street and so intimidating that one would not wanna see it honking at you in the rear view mirror! It was respected on and off roads. The new safari will never achieve this kinda legendary status and respect! I am not saying the new one is a bad car ... Its amazing .. but just not worth being called a safari.. period!

The off-road course should have included wet conditions. One of the best checks if a vehicle is off-road ready is to drive it in wet, muddy conditions, uphill climb etc. The tyres do not get adequate traction in these conditions and that's where the offroad capabilities of a car are truly judged.
