Today I revisit the pattern Bunzo that I previously showed in the Inktober tangle videos. I appreciate the classes that I take from Sonya Yencer, CZT. Sonya is an accomplished artist and I’m happy to share a few things that I have learned from her. You can find Sonya on Facebook. Her Sunday Zoom lessons are currently available by subscribing to her Facebook group called Zenergize You - Sunday Tanglers for only $5 per class.
The patterns taught are:
Bunzo and Hollis by Zentangle, Inc.
Henna Drum by Jane MacKugler, CZT

I'm the same. Can't come up with my own tangles. I can copy some what...lol...no straight lines. I love the botanicals. I enjoy your videos very much...thank you.

Have to laugh. Someday I will learn to watch first and then draw. I go off on my own and then don’t maybe leave myself room to accomplish what you are showing. Oh well NO MISTAKES!! LOL 😂 LOVED THIS. Even tho my Bunzo heart had to be upside down. Now I see why this seemed so familiar - I followed it 7 months ago 🤪

I like how you say that you can replicate what others have created but that it’s hard to come up with your own ideas. I have that same problem. So a lot of times I check out the Zentangle Mosaic app to see how people have used tangles. I then use bits and pieces to create my own tiles. Your teaching style is so calming and easy to follow that I love to see what you come up with. Thanks so much for all you do. 🥰❤️

Hi Polly! That's exactly what I do - I look at the Mosaic app and posts in Facebook and Instagram to get ideas. With Inktober coming up, I especially like to see what others have done with a pattern before I try to teach it. Thank you so much for your comments, I really appreciate them. I love seeing your work as it's always beautiful! ❤️❤️❤️

Thank you Josephine. I try to not compare myself with all the awesome talent that I see on Facebook and Instagram. I'm happiest when I just draw patterns that I love and try not to worry about being perfect. 😊
