That's the type of goodie bag you get 100% free, then accidently forget to take with you and then it just gets lost... can't believe that's what they gave him for 27 years, I'm so glad that they raised 200k+ for him.

in my country that would be worth maybe £10 lol. The employee in the video probably earns more in an hour than that goodie bag is worth

0:19 he was recognized by his peers... Not corporate. Head office doesnt notice the little people in the stores they only deal with owners of stores and franchise managers. Its up to the owner of the store to recognize the employees on a personal basis. Im not surprised the boss didnt even notice. Sad. Shame. Hard work goes often under appreciated or even noticed which is why more and more young people dont see the point in losing your soul to a job that doesn't see you.

It's far harder to find good workers who will work for nothing at the bottom line than it is to find college educated managers looking to make 150k a year + bonuses, as a s corporation owner I'll tell you right now that working hard at the bottom line will never get you promoted, just used and abused. The fact he was still so humble when receiving the gift bag is heartwarming on his part, and absolutely heartbreaking at the same time. For the amount of loyalty he has given his work place and coworkers, he deserves so much more than a bag of candy, a Starbucks cup, and a movie ticket. That's like accepting a half-assed Christmas gift from your toxic neglectful family, but still being happy they remembered to get you a present at all. I really thought this video was gonna be him going on a tangent saying "I've been here for 27 years and all I get was a damn goodie bag worth 20 bucks? No promotion, no supervisor position, just a goodie bag?" But instead he was very humble and showed off what he got.

So in order to be rightfully rewarded with money you deserve for 27 years of hard work and effort, you have to be happy with receiving something that is basically a huge slap in the face. Then the public will come together and be like “This guy is humble. Let’s give him lots of money because that’s what he deserves.” If he threw it in trash, ya’ll would be calling him ungrateful and that he should be thankful he even has a job.

He was grateful to receive these gifts, even though they were gifts that were put together with minimal effort. God seen his pure heart and blessed him two hundred thousand times over! Well deserved and I hope it continues to grow. God bless him and his beautiful family. Also- We know that big corporations don’t take care or care about their workers.
