Except you don't need the full burgle package in your deck in order for this quest to work, so it'll probably just be abused as a tool for a merciless aggro rogue deck or some smelly OTK combo deck that just splash in 3 or 4 burgle cards. The real burgle rogues will probably only represent a small portion of the decks that profit from this quest's existance.

@@Orillion123456 burgle rogue players shouldnt get punished because of degenerate players tho. we already saw this happen with raiding party. besides that we can already see the quest shaman become NOTICEABLY cancerous before the expansion even drops. even the unrefined quest druid in the video drops way too many stats and bodies turn after turn for the weapon to handle. you know what other druid deck did that? yea token druid. Blizz also removed the get out of jail free card vanish so good luck removing all the wood from your rectum when a refined token drops 3/3-4/4 treants everywhere every turn forever. and they also wont even run out of steam because UI is back.

As much as I love the Burgle Rogue archetype, I'm just not sure if it will even have the luxury of a "Tier X" title. I like how it teaches you to master the cards you're holding than to complain about the ones your opponents were dealt, but in the off chance that you run out of gas early, you are gonna be one unhappy camper :s

I really don’t think the deck can give up cursed cutlass against aggressive decks, even out side of aggressive decks cutlass is good, the 3/2 is good but I do t think it will be run over cursed cutlass

*Spectral, and I disagree. with the new hero power giving you a way to deal with things early on, you could add more removal for the early game to help protect yourself, or it's just a bad matchup. but if you put in spectral cutlass, you dont play the quest, simply because there'd be no point giving up a card you could play turn 1/ draw as a dead card for the quest, only to stick with using spectral cutlass.

Yes, as long as you take it slowly you should be able to reach pretty high rinks by the end of this expansion, maybe rank 5 and above by the end of the rotation if you play well enough. Blizzard has been pretty generous lately with events that give out good and dust.

It mostly needed the cutlass to survive imo and the quest does a better job at that

@@JayJayK-zy6ct better is arguable. this weapon gives you more survivability without relying on 1 weapon to continuously have charges as well as decent attack. but cutlass could also help you sustain at lower levels of health against spell focused damage decks, like hunter kill commands and hero power. I think against an aggro hunter and mage the cutlass wins by and large, but against most other decks, the ancient blades will be better for the most part.

The quest is just better. It's absurdly easy to get 4 cards early, which grants a permanent fiery war axe. Cutlass needs to be in two copies so as to be consistent to some extent, plus deadly poison for some substantial heal; factor in the reliance on whether you have some cards from other class in hand and the fact that you can't play weapons at all, limiting the range of your options. Using quest at expense of lost lifesteal means cutting two cards for one, or, as I would, 4 cards - no deadly poison - for one. This opens up more room to breathe.

@@statisticserinokripperino well, one will probably still want to run deadly poison for the same reason people ran deadly poison before cutlass, it helps with clearing minions your weapon's base stats can't clear. As I said, overall the quest is better about 90% of the time, but if you get an opponent who whittles your health down and uses spells to hit you directly, the cutlass is almost always better. Also keep in mind that, while the quest doesn't rely on cards, it DOES require a 2 mana 'upkeep' every two swings. I still agree that the quest is better overall, and should be run over cutlass, but cutlass does have its NICHE advantages.

This entire situation is a kind of a double-edged sword, eligible for fighting, except that one of its edges - the one that represents replacing cutlass - being much easier to wield, because swinging with the edge responsible for putting in the quest is sharper. What I mean is that both quest and cutlass have cons, but the cons of cutlass prevail over cons of the quest. Probably. I think. My opinion is not fully coherent as of now, but I'll probably keep playing both cutlass and the quest. I mean, quest reward will always be with me as my hero power, but the cutlass might save my gluteus muscles from time to time.

you're crazy. Trump queued into slow and badly built decks. This deck fares a lot less well against a tuned aggro deck that can go wide on the board. Also, love to call for decks being nerfed before an expac has even been released and a meta has had time to develop.

So typical trump to make a deck that only generates random cards, and hoping to win with that value. Seriously I would not include the cat, it's only 30% or so to get a card that helps the quest. And you lose turn 1 anyway so why need the 1 drop? Rather have Greenskin instead if you have deadly poison allready anyway. Or the 5 mana 3-5 rush card is probably going overboard aswell... Though I m surpiced at how much more powerfull the quest seems compared to cutlass,

@@jinfra- Because novice engineer draw's you cards from your own deck! Not a random card from a 13 card pool. Allso it's not a 1 mana 1/2 if you play it on turn 2 with nothing else. That would make it a 2 mana 1/2. I would rather just dagger up. and play it on turn 3 with a 2 cost card. But on turn 3 you rather want to play Blink fox. And so on. Anyway It did not make the cut for my deck. Only because a card gives you high value for it's cost means nothing if it does not help your deck. I remember How people though about Baku rogue not being able to work because they could not include eviserate. The general thought was that Eviserate is such a strong card that it allways needed to be included. In my opinion it does not matter how strong a card is, if it does not help your deck enough compared to other cards you cut it.

@@jinfra- Here's a fun fact for you: Only 3 or 4 out of the 13 reborn cards are good to get of wich the warrior one is the jackpot. BUT it allso has 4 really bad reborn cards of wich 1 will even make you lose the game should you play it. The other 3 are just way to slow for a rogue to play. And the rest is just so-so. So why would you put a card in your deck that gives 11 out of 13 times a card YOU WOULD NEVER EVEN CONCIDER to put in your deck? THATS HOW BAD the reborn pool is for Rogue.

I like watching Trump videos, but the game against the druid is reason why i stopped playing Hearthstone. In that game, if you are druid you have no insight what Trump deck is... what threats he does have, or what should you play around. Most of the strong turns Trump did, didn't even start in his deck. I imagine surprise when he got hit by random betrayal, or perfect Baron Geddon. Back in 2013 / 2014 I remeber playing against control warrior and trying to bait 2 brawls and barron so i can swarm the board.

The tempo gain from faceless is too strong to be afraid of summoning a doomsayer

@@Sparrowly1 its not amazing tempo that late into the game. Maybe I've just had worse luck than others but Doomsayer as ruined me enough that I don't faceless lackey as my last card on turn 7 anymore. I'll play it first and see if I'm safe but it would have ruined that whole turn if it was doomsayer.

@@whitaker_ damn that is unlucky. Its only happened to me once and I play a ton of lackey rogue
