these were made with the full intention of having collectors buy additional articulated dolls to swap their heads and clothes, I guarantee it.

Maybe partially. I think it's also a way to make the dolls more affordable to more kids. Parents might not be able to afford $25-$35 dollar dolls but $15 is much more doable. But yeah, but putting these absolutely adorable faces on them really is luring collectors to buy them and other dolls to rebody them. I plan to get bodies either second hand or on clearance for the rebody and then put those heads on these bodies to give to my 5 year old niece. I plan to put them in some of my spare SS lockers and put a few surprises in it for her to unlock. I think it'll be a good time and nothing will go to waste.

@ such a bummer, especially when these same colors are available in Saran…poly feels very dry and almost instantly looks unkempt and less realistic. This gives me impetus to hold off. Loving your reviews, though! 🤍
