Glueing the edges of the organza to stop it from fraying was a good idea. Love using straws to curl doll hair ! The bubble dress turned out GREAT!

My very first barbie…. my grandmother got me was the 2003 Wonder Woman barbie. My favorite tv show was justice league and they had released 3 ( super girl, Wonder Woman, and batgirl). My parents forbade her to give it to me and told her to return it. The summer after I graduated high school and turned 18 (2017) she gave it to me. She had kept it all these years. I am now 25 and have hunted down the rest in the line and have started collecting myself. I’ve been watching you for a couple of months now and I would like to say thank you. Fiyero is one of my fav boy dolls EVER. He feels so nice and his face is so pretty. Wish his clothes were more detailed but I do kinda fw the molded on hair for him. Def gonna turn him into Anthony Bridgerton though

I didn't get them when they came out and totally regretted it! I ended up getting most of the ones I wanted, they came back into stock on amazon. Love that they just put a sticker over the "mistake." Amazing. I've been looking for the deluxe dolls but because of the misprint recall they have been reselling for outrageous prices. They are on my wishlist cuz i am going to see the movie for my birthday (i could have seen it for work but i decided to wait) and I want to be able to have the dolls with me when i go. I am obsessed. I couldn't find the pan to make it and I ended up ordering a cake topper of the figurines since the dolls were out of stock. I do still want to do the cake sometime when I'm able to but for now i made do. I got a strawberry cake for glinda with green icing for elphaba. I share a birthday month with my sister so we celebrate on the 8th which is halfway between our birthdays (dec 1 and dec 15) but we are seeing the movie on the 7th cuz its a sensory friendly where we can sing along, have captions and the volume is lowered and the lighting is on. Its for special needs like autism and adhd families that wouldn't otherwise be able to sit through a movie quietly.

Wow! Thank you so so much :-) believe it or not there wasn't that much sewing involved with this as much as it was cutting out circles of fabric and folding them and adding the glitter glue to them. I guess Jonny Bailey wears blue contacts in the movie (? haven't seen it yet) cause the doll has blue eyes. I repainted my doll with brown eyes and repainted over his hair with all dark brown and now he looks much more like Anthony Bridgerton.

Oh no! I'm so so sorry. :( what kind of curling iron was it? Does it let you set the heat really low? I also find that slightly dampening the hair helps too. But sometimes the hair will still melt :( . It's always a risk unfortunately. I'm so sorry about your Glinda. I hope she's salvageable!

@ it was the ceramic one and yes i can adjust the heat but the hair was dry and I didnt thought of making the hair wet before i tested it. No w im thinking about rerooting the hair but ive never done it before.

Oh man, I'm sorry :( You can totally reroot though! It takes a little bit of practice, but once you do a couple of plugs, you'll be able to get the hang of it! I watched a ton of rerooting tutorials out here on KZbin and they were very helpful! You will have to keep me posted and feel free to reach out if you have any questions or need help with anything!
