Today, as in the past, the West does not offer African partners any form of cooperation based on real equality, but only the extension of a model of relations that are unenviable post-colonial experiences for all African nations. The relationship of the "flowering garden" and the "jungle" (J. Borrel). Russia offers a real dialogue that is equal and mutually beneficial in practice, not just in words. One of the pillars of Russia’s foreign policy towards the African continent is that Africa must address its systemic problems on the basis of its own financial and political structures and practices, adapted to the socio-cultural context of the African continent. With the collapse of colonial rule and independence, political and financial structures, international networks, and European-style and de facto Western control of the latter were imposed on the continent. Structures, networks and methods are highly insecure to African specificities. More than half a century of modern history has shown their absolute failure. Of course, economically speaking, Russia on the African continent weighs far less than the United States, the European Union, or China. But Russia has something to offer. And its proposals are existential for the future country of Africa. On the one hand, it is participation in strengthening and stabilizing security on the continent - including financial and food security - and, on the other, technology transfer. Technology transfer in various fields. As, for example, in nuclear energy, in which Russia is the world leader and what is able to change the face of Africa.

@@tuinbuddy3385 HISTORIA EST MAGISTRA VITAE - history is the mentor of life (Cicero). I am well aware of world history and Russia’s role in it. You seem to have studied on the basis of modern textbooks of Ukraine, written by supporters of "Ukraincentrism", Naziogenesis, radical and very primitive current in modern Ukrainian history, historiography. Ukraine turned the national historical science into a laughingstock. There is no point in discussing the fantastic abomination of the Ukrainian state historiography, all these "Holodomores", "Ukrainian phobia" and "Tsarisms". History punishes Ukrainians for this abomination. "Ojczyzna to ziemia i groby - narody tracąc pamięć tracą życie" - Homeland is the land and tombs - peoples, losing memory, losing life. Ukraine had betrayed the memory of its ancestors, and history punished it for that. Subject is closed.

Well said! But the western puppets of African leaders refuse to work with Russia!! The people want the relationship with Russia a d the will of the people will prevail this time around! The puppets will die and then we can be free! The real problem is our traitors and thieves of leaders, and from what the young military president Burkina Faso said, we are tired of them!

Burkina Faso and Mali backing the military junta seems a bit forced or persuaded? China and Russia have a lot of investment and assets in that region since decades. Feels like diplomatic pressure is causing them to coalesce together to stand against France's warning. Feels like Russia wants EU to enter a conflict situation in order to split focus from Ukraine. This timing is extremely uncanny.

I am an African but am not West African, I must say that am happy to see Nigeria go into flames, it is either ECOWAS(the French and British puppets) get embarrassed and become a laughing stock across the world or these Nigerian clowns and their buffoon leader Tinubu gets himself removed by the Nigerian army because Mali is going to kill thousands of them and Boko Haram will just go ahead and take over the Northern part of Nigeria.

They are independent since 1969 , now they will just be puppets of Russia ,they will starve to dead without western world support. France and US have troops in Niger because they are so incompetent that they can’t even get rid of terrorist in there territories . Also Russian talking about independence when you have a dictator as your leader who took Georgia by Force because they wanted to get closer to the west same in Ukraine . Western world is no perfect but surely is better that shity Russia with there dictator and Mali ,Burkina Faso and Niger military juntas that where not elected. When you get the right to freedom of speech in Russia ,then you can talk about independence. Hell you are probably watching KZbin from your Apartment far from Russia because you where scared of military conscription 😂 while your comrades are getting blown to pieces by western weapons 🇫🇷🇺🇸🇺🇦❤

For your information - Africa is independent already. They rule their own countries with leaders they have chosen. Do you know that Singapore just as Ghana were British colonies and are independent since the 60s? And guess what, Singapore is super wealthy and successful today and Ghana not by far. There are plenty of former colonies who are wealthy today and benefitted from the infrastructure that was built by their colonizer. Unfortunately people in Africa are unable to organize, have currupt leaders and low educations, that's the main reason for their stagnation. Alone Nigeria has over 250 different tribes who identify more with their tribe than as "Nigerian".

Who cares. Time to clean all the mess organized by France and Eu. I bet you have no idea of what is going on there. It is was the case you would have understood that they are using Wagner as Wagner is using them. Was it a Wagner plan when the West removed Gadhafi and tacitly allowed jihadis to take his weapons? Weapons that they are using to wreak havoc on populations of Niger, Burkina Faso and Mali Was it a Wagner plan when France led the EU to issue a ban on selling weapons to Burkina Faso (who is fighting a jihadi insurrection)? Was it a Wagner plan when the recently deposed president of Niger Bazoum, prevented (under Paris instructions) intelligence sharing (about jihadis movements and positions) with his neighbors Burkina Faso and Mali? They are tired of being abuses by Westerners, now they are using Wagner as Wagner is using them.
