For a Compass game this is a really good looking product. I expect a lot of it is down to this being a passion project for Christopher Moeller, he seems to have done all the art and graphical layout so that would help cut costs. But they still executed the production very well. Now I am quite interested to try this, my only issue will be the difficulty in getting hold of Compass games in the UK.

Got mine in a few days ago. Excited to play it! I hope people see that we need some fantasy war gaming without freakin miniatures. I’d love to see a fantasy version of GBoH. I think it would do well. Thank you for the unboxing and your thoughts.

I was thinking the same thing the other day. Amazing that no one has done a fantasy version with the Lord of the rings, IP or something similar.

⁠@@Panzersonor1967I love the Lord of the Rings and agree with the sentiment that not everything needs miniatures. I do think the LOTR is a heavily used IP though and so many of the games in it are excellent already, some other worlds from RPGs would be good to though. Worlds like Symbaroum turned into a war game may be interesting too.
